My wife and I were walking around Canada Place in Vancouver yesterday and the Koningsdam was in port. We noticed what appeared to be a new type of covered structure on the upper back deck that wasn’t there when we cruised on the ship back in December, 2022. Does anyone know what this is?

I have a cruise booked for next March, 2024 with Holland America. Does anyone know approximately how far out I would be able to book flights with Flight Ease?
Thank-you!

Yes. Right now there is just a note to check back later. Lately, the ability to book shore excursions and dining has appeared about 4 months before the cruise. But check every so often. Some slots fill quickly.
Thank you!

Thank you! We go March, 2024, so maybe too soon?

Along with our booking for next year, we have $200 pp shore excursion. Can book shore excursions and use that money before the start of our cruise? Same question with specialty dining - we have a Pinnacle and Tamarind dinner with our booking - can we book those before our cruise date? Thank you!

Have used the service many times on various ships. It is pretty much the same cost on all ships. Sorry, I don't have a picture of the item sheet available right now...others have posted it before. It's not *cheap*...but it's not crazy expensive either. I tend to plan on using it so that I can pack a bit less.
They usually quote a 2 day turnaround but very often you can get it back "next day" if you can get the bag handed over to your steward early in the day.
I have sent men's dress-style shirts several times...they always come back on hangars and ironed.
Any type of charge on the ship goes against your main shipboard account...if you have OBC then that is used up before they roll over to your credit card.
Perfect! Thank you! I'm lazy and don't want to iron my dress shirts before our cruise!

Wondering if anyone has used laundry services on Regal lately? I have a balcony stateroom booked for this March:
- does anyone know where I can find the cost?
- is the turnaround fairly quick?
- is pressing/ironing included?
- can I use my OBC?
Any information is appreciated. Thanks!

$15. On February 20 Princess is rolling out the new Packages that it began selling in December when the price of Plus went up to $60 per day. Once the new Packages rollout, and until the last of the "$50 per day Plus Packages cycle through (which is what you have), Plus will be treated as follows. Everything that is NOT preceded by the word "NEW" will be available to everyone with Plus, whether you paid $50 per day or $60 per day. Items that are preceded by the word "NEW" are only available to the people who paid $60 per day. If you paid $50 but want the "NEW" stuff, you can contact Princess or your travel agent and pay the difference for the change:
- Princess® dining, accommodations and entertainment
- MedallionClass® experience
-
Plus Beverage Package
(drinks up to $15 each) - Wi-Fi (1 device per guest)
- Crew appreciation
- NEW Premium desserts (2 per day)
- NEW Fitness classes (2 per cruise)
- NEW Unlimited juice bar
Thank you!

Our cruise is this March and made final payment in December... we have princess plus beverage package- will our drink limit be $12 or $15?
1 hour ago, JimmyVWine said:First of all, even under the old plan, you will be permitted to order drinks up to $15 as long as your cruise is after February 19. If you are leaving this week or next, then yes, the limit is $12. As far as room delivery, I don't really know anything about "specialty tea" so I don't know how that is treated. But as far as everything else is concerned, if the drink is included in the package and can be ordered on the app, the place of delivery is irrelevant. You can have your drink handed to you at the bar, delivered to you by the pool, or sent to your cabin and there is no additional charge for any of these.

Yep. Just as easy (or easier) to simply stop by the venue and book there.
Thanks!

Can I book specialty dining once on-board with the Medallion app?

Very excited to be back on the Regal this March after a 5 year gap! Some questions about specialty dining - specifically Sabatinis and Crown Grill:
- we have some obc... can we book prior to boarding and use obc to pay?
- does anyone know the current price per person for these restaurants?
- is there somewhere we can view current menus?
- any opinions one one over the other?
Thanks!!

We will be in San Juan for the first time this March. Looking like Isla Verde is a nice option for a beach visit? Does anyone have any recent experience with this beach? Cab/Uber prices? Chair and umbrella rental locations and prices? Any information is appreciated!

2 choices:
1) disembark during the normal disembarkation time with IDs, in transit card and off you go to enjoy your day. Can return and embark any time after general boarding begins, have to be aboard no later than 60 minutes before sail away. Just flash your in-transit card and you skip the check-in area, etc but do still have to go through security.
2) join the back to back group at designated time and lounge, be escorted off ship for immigration check, then held until 0 count, then escorted back aboard and enjoy the ship. (If it's a large enough group and there's enough CBP officers, immigration check may be done aboard - unlikely though).
Your choice. You'll get a letter detailing options and in-transit cards a day or two before turnaround day.
Thank you!

We have a 14 day cruise on Regal this March with turnaround in Ft. Lauderdale - wondering how the turnaround day works? We are hoping to get off and head to the beach for awhile on the morning of turnaround day.

We will be on the Regal before you. I think the show times can vary a little. Maybe depending on the itinerary. The Regal was sailing from Europe last month. I think the Entertainment Director can change this up a little. And a new Entertainment Director might be on Regal now. If you post again and ask before you sail, I will see if I can save patters, or jot down the show times for you.
Thank you, I will do that!

Last month, they were 7:30 and 9:30, almost always. I believe there was one night with a one-time show at 8:30.
Thank you!
