  1. Unrefrigerated eggs are quite common in the UK and Europe and elsewhere. Eggs will keep for about one week on your countertop but must never have been previously stored in a refrigerator. Once refrigerated, eggs must be kept refrigerated thereafter (or they’ll go bad fairly quickly.) 🐔
  2. I have noticed in cooler climes the theatre and lounges fill up fast, but in the tropics, there is usually lots of empty seating in the Princess Theatre. Our strategy is one of us gets our seats and the other one gets the drinks to enjoy while waiting for the show to start. 🍹
  3. Yes, the rare and excitable Heilan Coo! 🐂
  4. Thank you! ☺️ I have now downloaded the MOLDIV app. I’ve been looking for an app for years but couldn’t decide on which one. Now, I have, lol. Enjoying your blog immensely. We love Princess.
  5. The buffet on the Lido deck will have many vegetarian options, but, of course, that’s not the MDR. Just an FYI for you. We are also doing this cruise, giving us an opportunity to visit family that we do not visit often enough.
  6. Yes, I’m really, really hoping they do more cruises with more ports from Galveston. We have family in the area, so it works out much better than Florida does. 🛳 We do enjoy Florida, though. 🏝
  7. I believe this is the menu we had in March 2022 (if not, it’s very similar.) The food was excellent! I considered it a vast improvement over the previous menu and the food quality, too. As commented on in a previous post here, IMO, the food in Sabatini’s was pizza parlour quality, and now it is so much better. 😋 We look forward to eating there again.
  8. I’ve been corrected by DH, lol. We sailed directly out of Houston. It wasn’t Galveston, but it’s in the neighbourhood. We plan on driving down. Should take about four days, depending on the weather. 🥶☃️
  9. Thanks for the post, Timbom! I really enjoyed reading the comparison as there hasn’t been too much about this particular cruise. I’ve been following a live blog of two cruisers on the Allure: Brillohead and OzarkKid, who had not met prior to their recent cruise. They posted lots of information regarding the same three ports, so that was extremely helpful and entertaining. 😄 To read their posts, RCL is the only way to cruise, but we are diehard Princess cruisers, lol, so we won’t be switching over any time soon. We are on this cruise on April 2 and cannot wait. Btw, we did this cruise when Princess first sailed out of Galveston. Glad to see them back.
