  1. Just booked for next jan. Been on many cruises and different lines usually mid size don't really like the big ships but we were looking at Xmas but the cruise after was such a bargain why not? Hopefully kids will be back at school so shouldn't be too busy but whatever we just love to cruise everywhere and anywhere.

  2. Hi guys,

This will be our first time on Oceania and have opted for the OBC $1000 instead of the drinks packages as to be honest we do like a drink or two/three when on holiday.

Just read through these posts and everything is now jumbled could anyone confirm that if we purchase the Prestige package the gratuity has already been added and we only pay$60 per person?

    Thank you

  3. Thanks folks for your replies, we are getting on board credit so if we purchased the drinks package it would come from this, I presume.

We went to the Baltic last year so we won't be doing the St. P's trip again but some of the ports we haven't been to so looking forward to seeing them.

What's the entertainment like on a smaller ship, having only been on larger ships before?

    Thanks again Val & Dave

  4. Hi everyone, we have just booked our first cruise on Oceania Nautica, having cruised on various other lines. Reading the posts it would appear that most of the travellers are American, are there any UK residents here?

Really looking forward to this cruise as it will be milestone birthdays for me and my husband, is it worth purchasing the drinks packages?

Any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks

  5. We've done a few B2Bs but always in the UK. Our last Princess, Emerald last June, we were in different cabins and stewards came and took our hanging clothes, and suitcases to the new cabin about 10.a.m. We met in one of the dining rooms for our new photos and cards and then we could do what we wanted to. In the UK you do not have to get off board to do immigration but if you like you can go ashore. On returning, depending on which terminal you are docked you just walk through with your new card and there is no waiting. On our last B2B on Cunard, we were staying in the same cabin and our cards complete with new photos were delivered to our cabin the day before and we just went ashore to do some shopping in Southampton and got back on board whilst all the new cruisers were waiting to board, we just walked through the customs with our new cards.

Glad some things are easier in the UK.

  6. Going on the Caribbean Princess in May and we have a coffee card from our cruise on the Emerald Princess last June. There are only a couple of punches, punched, and believe we can use the remaining for ordinary coffees, is this still the case?

I am looking to purchase a soda card, not done this before, what can you actually get, does this include mocktails and what is the cost and is it worth it?

    Thanks

  7. I believe that a couple of cruises were cancelled after the New Year to enable the ships propulsion unit something or other to be fixed and that they had therefore brought the refit forward.

Does anyone know exactly what they will be doing? Looking at the diagrams of before and after only shows that some categories of state room are changing.
