We are booked on Harmony of the Seas in August sailing to Roatan, Costa Maya and Cozumel. We would like to book a Segway tour in Costa Maya but RCC says that the cutoff age for this tour is 70 and we are older than this but in good physical condition and have ridden segways previously.  Does RCC actually check for age when this tour is booked?

Yep. Insurance issue. Will check your age every time. As I well know being over 70.

Why odd? Boy George has just finished a run in Moulin Rouge on Broadway so feels pretty relevant right now.

Agree. And glad someone besides me knows Boy George. Only seems odd to me based on President's Cruise if mostly booked by Upper Tier Crown and Anchor members.

Last year we sailed on Allure President's Cruise. Had Chaka Khan as the headliner.

I thought she was great but many disagreed.

    I'm still wishing for Whitesnake.

  3. Oasis is scheduled for the President's Cruise in June, 2024. What you're seeing is the ship being prepared for the cruise.

We sailed on Allure 2023 President's Cruise, same thing.

Ready the ship to host Royal President and executive staff. Plus about two thousand Crown and Anchor members.

This is one of the reasons we do consecutive cruises.  You only need to pay airfare and hotel for one.

Agree. We drive to Galveston from Missouri but flights to Florida often are $ 1000.00 or more for the two of us. Add bags, hotel stay, meals, and taxi your close to doubling the cost of cruise fare.

Really think they will move to a point system based on dollars spent. Already happens in the Casino.

We are departing on Voyager from Galveston on Saturday, Feb. 10th, our cabin is Starboard Deck 10. Does anyone know if Deck 10 was affected like Deck 9 with flooding? Are these rooms now 'dried out'? I heard some passengers have been offered FCC or a move...I haven't heard anything from RCCL so I'm 'assuming' our cabin is OK...a bit apprehensive...

Also joining you Feb. 10th. Have not heard from RCCL, so thinking all is fine. Guess we will see. We drive down from Missouri, leave on Thursday.

    GO CHIEFS...

  6. We always stay at the Radisson Hotel by the airport. Free ride to the hotel. Right next to 13 Coins (excellent restaurant). Seattle Express will pick you up at the hotel taking you to the cruise ship. After the cruise will return you to the airport.

I grew up in Seattle. If you stay downtown, be careful after dark.
