Maybe this is old news to some, but I have cruised Carnival a bunch and just learned there is a 15 (alcoholic) drink/day limit per person (based on Sail & Sign card) - regardless if you have Cheers or are paying "out of pocket".
No, I didn't hit the limit but was at the bar when someone did. He threw a fit and probably needed to be cut-off anyway. Anywho, thought that was interesting. Bartender said it was a safety thing, but people often get someone else to buy for them if they hit their limit.

Well, do you have a spare 100 million laying around? It could be yours if you love it so much :-p
Actually I do, but I was going to build a roller coaster.

Say it ain't so!!!

The computer models on Wunderground have it crossing Central America well south of Mexico and going into the Pacific.

Thank you! That's just what I was looking for!

There is nothing you can do , they will keep you safe.
Oh I know there's nothing I can do. My question is do I even need to worry? Any weather buffs know if this thing can even get there by Saturday> :)

So we are going out of Mobile on Thursday on the Fantasy to Cozumel. Is there any chance at all that this storm could even make it that far north by Saturday (when we are due to arrive in Coz)????

Only problem is they tend to overdue the announcements
So you're saying they make the announcements too late? So like they are announcing an event that already is over?

Drats! When I read the thread title I thought it said "Build a Beer".. I got very excited. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

But understand these are the same people who spend hours a day hoping for a $20 price drop, try to smuggle booze in their luggage, race to get on the ship as soon as possible as not to miss a feeding, and reduce their gratuities on those days they don't dine in the MDR and complain that Carnival raised the price of a 12-pack of water by $1. !
And you're point is? LOLOLOLOLOL :):):):)

Sorry - Thread title should be "CHECK -IN TIME", not BOARDING TIME.
-
Hey all. So we are doing online check in for a cruise in August and the earliest check-in time available is 10:30 (10am is the earliest check-in time on the list, but it was full) . Are we held to that even if we are platinum? Thanks!

Hmmm. Lot's of conflicting reports here. This may be a good question to ask JH for clarification.
