We are doing aback to back cruises in May on Constellation.

On the first cruise from Barcelona to Venice we had booked a Rome  excursion only to be

advised it was cancelled. So we then booked another excursion at a higher cost which included lunch.

Now they tell us the lunch that was included has been dropped for the tour to allow more time for

on our own sightseeing near the Vatican. We contacted them and were told there was no compensation for

the lunch we now have to purchase on our own.

On our second cruise leaving Venice on the 21st, we had booked 4 excursions only to be notified two had been

cancelled and a refund to my cc would come in 2-3 months! Now our reservation number has been changed and all other excursions

are cancelled with refunds to be issued in 2-3 months.

Has anyone else had the same issues with either their excursion being cancelled or their reservation number changing?

Any advice would be appreciated.

We think they should rename the ship the  Celebrity Cancellation!

Does anyone know if Celebrity offers any water boat transportation from the port to or near St Marks Square?

If not can someone let us know a fairly accurate time to walk from the port to St Mark's and what is the most straight forward

path to take?

Any piece of info is greatly appreciated.

We will be cruising Celebrity Solstice in New Zealand in November and would like some opinions on excursions in both Akaroa and Dunedin.

In Akaroa we would like to see Christchurch have narrowed it down to either of the following two excursions:

1. Christchurch & Countryside
   
2. Christchurch on your own
   

In Dunedin we have narrowed it down to the following excursions:

1. Dunedin Highlights
   
2. Otagos Wild Wonders
   
3. Dunedin Panorama
   
4. Otago Penguin & Dunedin Panorama Experience.
   

Any info or suggestions about any or all of these tours will be appreciated and helpful to make our decision.

Hi All, thanks for the suggestions.

I should have said that we are cruising from new Zealand to Sydney on Solstice and then are doing a land tour for 12 days and we had one day at the end in Brisbane that we had no plans for. We do not have a vehicle and that is why the thought of a local tour to Stradbroke might peek our interest as the pictures looked nice.

Is Tangalooma Resort on Moreton Island a better choice for a day of relaxing and seeing different part of the area?

Can anyone suggest a good reliable tour company to use?

Hi, we are going on a cruise in November on Celebrity Solstice and were looking at cabin 8132

Can someone please give us the low down on this cabin as to the pros & cons?

We ended up doing the walk in the cloud tour.

It was over and hour each way to get there.

The Humming birds were neat and the bridges were OK.

Unless you are a nature lover I would suggest either doing

the Aerial tram rain forest adventure or Poas volcano, Sarchi, country drive

but of course that is my opinion only.

I am sorry you feel we are mindless "navybankerteacher" !!

We DID try to get a hotel for a couple of days prior to our arrival but it is FLEET WEEK as you should probably know given your user name. I am not going to pay $600.00 a night for a hotel. We just wanted to get info on the best places for quick walk around the area.

We will be on the Celebrity Infinity October 7th cruising from San Francisco through the Panama Canal to Fort Lauderdale. We were wondering if there will be time to visit San Francisco quickly before the chip embarks at 5:00

We arrive to San Fran at 8:30 on the 7th. Is it realistic to think we can get in some sightseeing? Will we be allowed to come back off of the ship after we go through customs and board the ship?

Any suggestions or info that would help us?

If so was it a good tour?

We are going in October and trying to find a good tour to take for 5 or 6 hours. Any info will be helpful.

We will also be on the Celebrity cruise in October and are trying to narrow down our shore excursion for Guatemala.

If not the lake Atitlan tour, which one would you recommend?

We are a couple in our early 50's and like to see the old sites and

appreciate the history side of our tours. We are not into the coffee bean tours or jade tours.
