  1. Hi Nick,

I was on a budget so I stuck to the drink of the day (cocktail) - $8.50 usd each. However, my friend was on the Explorer immediately before me. I was asking her today about the cocktail prices - she took a photo of the drink menus. Cocktail prices ranged in price from $8.50 to $11.00 each.

My tip is to get to know your bartender. Find one you like and stick with him/her. They tend to throw in a few extra free ones throughout the cruise.

    Awesome! Thanks [emoji4]

I've got the drinks package but it only covers drinks up to $12 so this is great news

  2. Our Voyager also misses out on Lifou, no OBC awarded, but they replaced us with Mare, already been there so very disappointed not to go somewhere new.

Dec 13 approaches, and there is no Mare cruise excursion available on the RCI website ):

My understanding when I contacted RCI was that they do not have and are not planning to have excursions for Mare as it is a "lovely snorkeling location"

  3. I'm curious if you did end up booking?

I am booked on Explorer for 4th February to South Pacific.

I would tend to say cyclones can happen at anytime from January through to the end of March.

February will be a good time though because it will be very warm and school holidays would have just finished.
