  1. awesome feedback thank you all for the insights! Yea I don't have any trouble with tattoos or how people choose to dress, but I wasn't looking for anything super rowdy. I'm excited to hear that there is a good turnout at night at the bars and the live music. I was just looking for a crowd of people looking to have fun and to meet some new faces.

I was on the epic on the 20th Jan sailing. There was a party of 16 of us tattoos and all;p) and we love to let loose being very sociable. I've been on Carnival and NCL and I preferred the night life options on NCL.

The glow party was moved in doors on our sailing to bliss as the seas were choppy but it was good although died off around 12ish. Dance tubes were pretty decent and I was a regular to Ibiza :) so had expectations of an Ibiza style dance party.

We spent a couple of nights in Bliss until 3am-ish. It was a hood atmosphere.

The 70s disco at Spice was brilliant people of all ages just having a hood time.

Also has a great time in howl at the moon, Priscilla and cirque.

We were there for my 40th (age is still just a number... for a wee while yet🤣)

  2. I paid for a lot of extras before we went on the epic 20/01-27/01. I bought a 3 meal dining package for £56pp. I could use this towards cirque - using this brought the additional charge for cirque down to £12ish and I would say this show is worth every penny if you think about how expensive to see Cirque on land where this is such intimate access, I highly recommend it. The other two places I dined were Cagneys and Tepenyakki, the latter was amazing, wasn't fussed for Cagneys.

A thermal spa pass cost me £150 and it was also worth every penny, there is a wide range of jets with different pressures in the thalassotherapy pool some of them were as good as a massage. I used it daily to detoxify from my shenanigans the night before. Pool, sauna, pool, steam room, pool, heated loungers while having access to fruit infused water and herbal teas in a chilled area. As there was limited access you can almost always use whatever option suited your needs. I was not hungover once:)

I paid $25 for one picture, I was not interested in photo packages but this was the only picture of everyone in our group together.

    It was $7 to bowl.

I also added onboard credit to my account, this meant I left the ship with virtually no bill.

The things I paid for upfront were well worth the money:)

  3. I think it would be better to stay at the port in case there are any issues on the road the next morning. My friend stayed in a studio on our cruise a couple of weeks ago. She said it was small and quiet enough. She was on 11. There area can only be accessed if you have a studio key card.

    She just missed natural sunlight.

We hired a car at the port and dropped it off at the airport but my friends got a shuttle through go port Canaveral at $14.95pp

  4. Oh my gosh, are you sure we didn't meet?! Or did you meet my friend Brittany? She was the one who grabbed the bass guitar the first night...she made a lot of friends that night that she doesn't remember but she got recognized all around the ship for the rest of the week! :')

Sounds like we should have met! We're Scottish there was 16 of us on cruise but only around 5 or 6 made it to howl at the moon 😂😂. I do remember people dancing on stage in vetween my howling sessions😂

  5. Believe it or not, we barely saw any entertainment!! We're the laziest cruisers ever!

One thing we did see was Howl at the Moon, which was an absolute blast! They were taking all kinds of requests and my friend and I were dancing up a storm! We went on the first night, which I would reccomend - I think people were still getting settled so it wasn't too crowded.

It' a surprise we didn't meet:) we went the first night and a couple of other nights. 1st night we were very very drunk and it probably sounded like we were howling rather than singing along :)

  6. Hey did you guys have stickers on your cabin door with rachel and corey on them? If so we were just along from you :)

This is a great review I would agree with absolutely everything you have said. My first time NCL and never encountered a problem getting more than one drink at the bar etc. Also paid the extra above UBP for quite a few expresso martinis.

Spa: I also got the massage special, mines was done by a girl called wenyelene (apologies if this is an incorrect spelling) and she was absolutely fantastic. the full massage from tip to toe was amazing no talking throughout, only to ask if the pressure was enough. She dd however give me an additional treatment during my facial for my eyes as I had ticked the dark circles on the questionnaire (if there was an emoticon on this thread I would roll my eyes at this questionnaire because its essential purpose is to give them ideas as to what ailments they can sell you products for). At the end she also gave me a mirror and said look at the difference in your eyes, I just said write down the name of the product and I'll speak to my husband then gave her good feedback about how good she was. Essentially if anyones reading this I would highly recommend her!

I also had a thermal suite pass for the week, it was amazing, I went in every day to use the steam/sauna/pool to rid my self of the toxins from the night before. On one morning however my self and my friend went and the pool was closed for maintenance, found this a bit annoying given that its the main feature and we had paid £149 for it.

O' Sheehans: the food was nice but yeah we had mains come out then appetizers on more than one occasion and one time waited minutes for a drink. It didn't really seem that busy so I have no idea what was going on. I think they need to think about how the restaurant side is operating.

Anyhoo I did enjoy the ship, plenty to do for my age group (was there for my 40th but i'm still 30 at heart and like late nights too) and have already booked to go on the bliss in January 2020 :)

  7. Hello wonderful peeps!

Can anyone tell me roughly how early I can get off the epic (not a walk off as too much luggage) so that I can book car hire?

Our flight isn't until 6:30 but we have a day room booked in Orlando so plan on spending the day dawdling about getting last minute shopping etc so would like to be off early to make the most of it.

    TIA :)

  8. Yeah thanks I wouldn' t hesitate to ask someone I just meant is there a clear view of the ship before we board that we could get a picture with the ship in background or does the check in area take us a higher deck where we don't have access to the deck.

Will probably be the only time we are together to get a group photo.

  9. Sorry, off topic![emoji54]Didn't realize which thread I was on. I'm on a couple different ones and my cell doesn't show top of thread unless I really look!
