I would take it on board with you at those prices.

We are doing 3 back to back cruises on Q.V. out of Southampton and keeping the same cabin on all cruises.
Will we be able to stay on board while in Southampton or do we have to disembark and embark all over again ?
You can stay on board.

They are not using the exchange rate that you would get with your credit card. I tried to buy Captains Choice. 12 bottles, for a forthcoming cruise. The advertised price was $450, they would not sell it to me in $, only in sterling. The price was going to be £406, on that days exchange rate it should have been £376. I cancelled the order and complained as I think this is a blatant currency exchange rip off. If you advertise in a currency, you should sell in that currency, in my view. If you wait until you are on the ship, my belief is that you are charged in $, but you also have to pay the 15% service charge - so they get you one way or another.
The price quoted includes service charge.

Do you get a table allocated to you for the duration of the cruise ? Can you ask for a particular table ?
You do. And, yes you can.

It is getting closer to my sail date of Nov. 26th, on board the Queen Mary 2. Here are a few questions I may be repeating myself on some. Here goes ....
Do you tip for room service and if so what is a decent amount. I always tip on other ships but in the past read that most people do not on his ship. - Not usually
As I am not a younger person when I arrive at the terminal will there be a luggage/ trolley available should I need it and for when I get off the ship? - Normally - yes
At dinner should you order a drink with your meal do you hand them your room card ? - Yes
Thank you !!!

It's been disabled in the UK - you need to e-mail ukworld.club@cunard.co.uk and ask them for your voyage history.

Helpful Hint: After you fax your form to Cunard, have your travel agent tell you if the extra OBC has been added to your account. You may have to fax it in again. This has happenedf to us several times.
In the UK we get an updated booking confirmation if booked directly with Cunard showing the total OBC - but I suppose if you book through a travel agent they would too?

You are correct - guarantee cabins don't come with luggage labels as they don't know which cabin will be allocated to you.

G'day, can anybody out there in Cunardsville enlighten me as to who is the current Entertainment Director and contact information for QM2, 2017 World Voyage? Looking to arrange a Cruise Critic Roll Call Meet and Greet for Sydney to HK sector. Cannot find out from Cunard site.
Thanks in anticipation.
At present it's Sally Sagoe.

0843 something that they have on the website. At least they made 7p a minute out of me.
Not impressed.
No call back yet.
Paying £400 a night each for the privilege of not getting through to customer service. Shockingly bad.

This may have been covered elsewhere but I want to let people in UK know how to get Wine Packages at a cheaper price. Ring Cunard customer services on FREEPHONE 0800 0523841 and say most carefully that you wish to purchase a Wine Package AS A GIFT (you can say for your partner / companion). You will then be charged to your credit or debit card in £ using an exchange rate of 1.54 USD to GBP rather than the current 1.33. I purchased yesterday 12 bottles from the Captains Collection for £321.50 which is a considerable saving. Works out at £26.80 per bottle.:)
No need to say it's a gift - just buy it for yourself. Works also for on-board credit which you can use for nearly anything whilst you're there.

New to Cunard and considering the T/A crossing April 2017 Fll to Southhampton. Will be watching prices, but by waiting until after final payment what should I expect in the way of pricing for a Balcony
How long is a piece of string?:D

I know this topic has been discussed in the past, but I can't seem to use the correct search terms to find previous threads to answer my question.
If one couple has priority boarding status and is traveling with another couple who does not (and these others are not sharing a stateroom with the priority-status-people) will the party be allowed to board together in Southampton? Has anyone had experience with this situation?
Thank you for clearing this up for me.
Happy Sailings to All!
Yes.

To add insult to injury, there's no contact email address on their website and calls in the UK cost a lot of money.
Anyone else with the same problem?

Hi
Apologies if this has been asked before.
My parents have booked on "day tours" of P&0 ships while they are in Southampton. It costs about £50 they get a tour of the ship and lunch on board etc.
Do Cunard ever do this? I'd love to have a look around the QM2 particularly. I know they have the same parent company so thought the might offer the same sort of thing.
Thanks in advance

A couple of months ago we finally decided that we could afford a cruise this year :D the only problem was which one. We narrowed it down to two; the first one which we booked was 2 ships no fly Bahamas and Florida over Christmas and the New Year, the second one was the Caribbean Christmas and New Year Cruise, both on the QM2.
In the end we went with the first one for two reasons; price-at the time of booking the difference was just short of £1000 pp which we felt was too big a burden, plus the cruise offered us 5 days in New York which both DH and myself agreed was perfect.
I have now made the cardinal error of looking at prices and not only has the cruise we have booked disappeared from all but one of the online agents (including the firm we have booked with) I find the price of the second cruise has been reduced dramatically to almost the same price as the first one and on one website it is even cheaper
So, do I
Say nothing to DH and sulk to myself for a few days before cheering up because we are going on a cruise anyway
Tell DH so that we can both sulk for a few days before cheering up because we are going on a cruise anyway
Speak to our Ta and see if she could 'swap' cruises. I suspect this would be almost impossible and probably expensive. I am also not sure that DH would want to change cruises as he loves New York.
Would value your input.
BTW 17 Weeks To Go :D:D
I'd go with your:
"Say nothing to DH and sulk to myself for a few days before cheering up because we are going on a cruise anyway"
