Hi Nate,
loved the video
Funny because I have 2 upcoming cruises booked with Carnival.
Feb 2013 - we are on the Glory but are doing a similar Itinary that you had.
The in May 2013- we are on the legend.
.
Thanks!
Loved your underwater stuff........ what kind of camera are you using for that ?
I am using a canon S95 with Canon under water hoousing. I did a lot of research and it got great reviews by Scuba guys and Photo guys. I shoot a Canon DSLR for many of the pics in the vid but the underwater stuff was with the S95. The S100 is out and has been for awhile so you can find the S95 alot cheaper than it used to be. The S100 did not get great reviews BTW.
I will keep an eye out for your review!

We were on the Legend in April with Alan and thought he was great. We went to the Piano bar every night. His piano playing is terrific and he knows most of the songs you want to hear. He is British, and has that dry sarcastic sense of humor, but I appreciate that.
Agreed, we thought Alan was great. The bar is a little quiet but was good.

What is amount is recommended for tipping your guides? I want to be fair and not under pay a good guide..
I didnt really know either but I tipped 60.00 total for the two of us. Tex uses his own van, his own gas, does his own cleaning and maintenance. I figured since it was a private tour, more was appropriate. I am really interested to see what others say.

Ah yes.. The great guy in the lobby who pushed a button and attempted to sing along. No one paid him any attention that I saw either. I said to my daughter that he needed to retire - I guess we think alike!
We had Kirk a few times as our CD when we sailed the Pride. I did like him. The shows were new to us - Jazz Hot and The Big Easy. We thought they were very good.
We liked the Jazz Hot show as well. The piano player in Billies was good as well but the place was always empty. Too bad he didnt get the atrium. WWe went to see him several times.
We had Kirk as a Cd on our June 3 cruise. We liked him well enough but TJ ( I think he was asst. CD was very good!)

Agreed. We really enjoyed the sushi as well. How was the food?

Sorry people but i dont understand this thread? Why would people need the noise of a fan to sleep? just curiouse,i have never heard of it befor:confused:
Den
Good question. I have no idea why I need a fan (or white noise) to sleep. Always have though. Without it, I stay awake listening to every little noise around me. Weird, I know. It would be great to be able to sleep without one.

I am going to pack a fan as well. I have a fair hard time sleeping without it. I also have downloaded a free white noise app in case the fan isnt allowed.
