We sailed in February to those three ports and absolutely loved it!! Freedom was a great ship!

I packed a few pairs of leggings and some Carly's! Even wore my cruise ship leggings when we disembarked (wasn't quite ready to give up the cruise lol)

Yea all you need is there sea pass. We asked when we cruised and they said as long as you have their sea pass anyone can take the kids on and off the ship

I didn't plan outfits for the kid stuff but I didn't know what they were ahead of time lol pirate night they color bandanas and they get face painted eye patches. There was a white night on the pool deck we did not attend that though. The parade was the last night, but the characters will be out throughout the entire cruise starting night 1 I believe! The breakfast was cute my daughter had fun, it was only Shrek and puss and boots kinda wish there would have been more characters but food was good and got cute pictures there too!

Intro packet that was given when boarding. They will have a table set up as soon as your on the boat you'll get this and the wrist bands that coordinate to your muster station

We will be on Freedom of the Seas next February 17, 2018. The ship leaves port at 5:30pm. Does anyone know what time we can actually board the ship?
We got to the port at about 10:45 and were on the ship by 11:30!! We lucked out and missed the huge rush of people at noonish

Another story dealing with the large group of 1100 or so rude, inconsiderate folks from the far east. Sure wish I had known, although it really didn't diminish the great service, entertainment and overall experience on the Freedom. We had a blast!
I have to agree with you here! the constant blocking of walk ways and especially staircases got to be kind of frustrating! A big issue I found was no one ever looked up from their phones! Still a great trip and we are already talking about planning another freedom trip!

We sail on FOS in April and I was curious about embarkation. We were considering taking the free hotel shuttle (we are about 5 miles from cruise pier) but sounds like we would be way better off paying and getting there alittle early.
Thanks for the info and look forward to hearing more.
We were on this cruise as well. We arrived at the cruise port at about 10:45 only waited in line maybe 10 minutes. Once done with checkin we were able to board after waiting for our group to check in and stopping for pictures we were onboard by 11:30 :)

Cozumel- dolphin encounter question

We did the royal swim at chankannab? My 7 year old and 3 year old nephews both went in the water with us. The seven year old was able to do the dolphin push, and pull. The younger was able to do the activities from the platform, like the kiss, and high five and splash stuff
