  1. Hi just thought I would chime in. I got married on the Pride last December 12/8/19. And I have to say I loved it. We did have a little stress with embarking because a fire alarm went off on the ship and the disembarking guest had to leave everything then get back on get everything then do customs before we could get on. Even with all that we still made it to the ceremony on time. I only had 15ish minutes to get in my dress so I definitely recommend having hair and makeup done and being as organized as possible. We had our ceremony in the butterfly lounge and reception in the piano bar. We had 19 sailing guests and 22 non sailing guests. Because of the fire alarm no one got the little rehearsal so we kinda winged it but that fits our personality. If you want things to be a little more organized I recommend going over the plan the day before. If you have an specific question just let me know. You will have a great time.

  2. We are getting married on the Pride 12/8/19 and my grandfather reserved the chefs table for us. My question is has anyone tried it either on the pride or other ships and what should I expect? Anything stand out? Is the food going to be a meal or one of those fun tasting menu that you need dinner after lol?  Thank you

  3. We are getting married 12/8/19 on the carnival pride. It’s going to be so much fun. I will be honest I have say the dates but haven’t addressed the labels I might be procrastinating. We also have started collecting for welcome bags. And as long as I don’t end up in beauty lounge (they said I shouldn't) everything will be great I hope .

  4. I did book and it was what I wanted 12/8/19 on carnival pride out of Baltimore. I cant wait we have also decided to do welcome bags instead of favors with lanyard and different card games then assorted sundries. That way they are useful and fun

  5. We are planning an embarkation day cruise on carnival pride dec 2019 because then everyone can come even if they can only get a weekend off. Most of our friends and family have said they are cruising with us but we know two wont, one is scared of sea. That way everyone important is at the wedding and the rest of the cruise is just fun with no stress. Both would be great but thats my reasoning 🙂

  6. We are getting married in port on embarkment day, that way we can have family come for the wedding and not cruise as everyone can't afford to do so. Lissy Fernandez Is ours. How about you?!

We don't have one yet our cruise is not officially available yet 😋 But they have had the same cruise for the last 4 years so it shouldn't change.

  7. Hi everyone I am planning on get married on carnival pride 12/8/19 assuming that carnival continues to the Baltimore schedule pattern. My question is what have people done as unique favors for their cruise weddings. Every time I think of a cute idea I remember customs 🤔. Thanks for any ideasBrandi

  8. I personally can't stand that tips/gratitudes are the owners way of making the customer pay the majority of a service persons salary. If service is great they should get a great tip as a nod to the superior service, but why should I have to pay what amounts to guilt tips for poor or mediocre service.
