  1. Hi guys im currently planning my next carnival cruise and im split between 3 options. i was wondering what everyones thoughts are! Im hungup on 2/3 but airfare is steep 1 is just in the air because of the convenience of not flying

    1. 9 Day NYC Sunrise - Bermuda - Half Moon Cay - Grand turk - Premier casino 300$ funplay - free casino drinks - OCEAN VIEW 400$ ea gratuity incl
I like this itinerary because of the overnight in bermuda which ive never been But im really leaning away from the Sunrise , over crowded with extra rooms, small theatre shrunken casino, bad comedy club , bad serenity

    2. 8 Day Miami Magic - St Marten - St Kitts - San Juan - Grand Turk - Casino offer , free drinks in casino INTERIOR 250$ Ea Gratuity included

Last cruise was on the magic i enjoyed the ship Simon is an awesome CD havent done either of the ST’s yet , not crazy about interiors but its not a deal breaker

    3. 7 Day New Orleans Glory - Montego Bay - Grand Cayman - Cozumel - Premier Casino , 300$ funplay , Free casino drinks , Special OCEANVIEW layout 2473 , 250$ Ea Gratuity incl

The layout of this room is awesome , 2 windows a couch and a table and 2 chairs and lots of open space, it looks like a suite minus the balcony, ive also done the glory before and i enjoyed the ship. I havent done Montego bay before and ive heard mixed things about jamaica

  2. Hi everyone im booked august 17 on the magic 8 day southern carib and im in a dilemma about an available upgrade. Right now im booked in an interior room 7232 on deck 7 fwd on a casino offer for just taxes and port fees. I can upgrade to ocean vew 1448 deck 1 aft for 210$. This i a mishaped room so instead of a couch you have to chairs but its double wide and you get 2 windows that the bed faces. My only reservation is being all way deck 1 aft and 1 being away from the action and 2 any possible engine noise vibration. Ive cruised before in balconys an ovean view and an interior. Interrior was my last favorite but this years looks to be in a good location because its just a few steps away from the forward outdoor deck 7 area.

  3. It is easy to try a home version of Carnival's pizza before you cruise.

Go to you local supermarket; buy the cheapest frozen pizza available. Take it home. Open the package and discard the pizza. Eat the box.

Dont forget to add the ketchup on top

  4. so i booked on a players club premier offer for the glory on 9/2 and i was wondering if anyone had more info on the tournaments drawings and premier event schedule. Has anyone here been on one in the last year and has a picture of the schedule they leave in your room? Also does anyone recall what the prizes were for the premier only tournaments , and the prizes for the give aways, what the gift was and what the treats in your room were? Also ive read a few places that the table limits get bumped on these cruises because of the "high rollers" on the premier offer, can anyone cerify this?

  5. hello all,

Were looking into booming a cruise and we narrowed ot down to 2 options. Carnival glory - hmc, puerto rico, st thomas, grand turk and wed have to fly to miami.

Or carnival pride- grand turk, hmc ,

Freeport. Baltimore is a drive for us. Both areon the same deal and about the same price so for us it comes down to the ship. Has anyone sailed both ships abd preferred one over the other. Been on the pride and the legend and really like the layouts of the spirit class ships.

Please let me know your thoughts!

  6. Hello all! Im currently on the pride and i placed 2nd in the 1stbj tournament and won a ticket into the 100k final tournament 8/23 out NOLA. 1st place in the tournament gets 50k. Also included with the ticmet is 25% of the cruise and this is also a christ tucker live cruise. If anyone is interested please let me know.

  7. Tampa also has a bridge clearance problem.

I guess in Florida's case, it just simply has nearly half of the fleet. The only year-round non-Florida homes for Carnival ships:

    Baltimore (Pride)

    Charleston (Ecstasy)

    Galveston (Breeze, Freedom, Liberty)

    Long Beach (Imagination, Inspiration, Miracle)

    Mobile (Fantasy starting 11/9/16)

    New Orleans (Dream)

    San Juan (Fascination)

    Seattle/Melbourne, AUS (Legend)

    Sydney, AUS/Shanghai (Spirit)

That's 12 of the 25 ships home porting in Florida for at least part of the year. Splendor will head to China, but Horizon will likely take her place, so Florida will have 12 of the 26 ships starting in Spring 2018. The only possible change I could see is if one ship gets based year round in New York or Boston, but Florida will likely still have at least 11 ships.

Im gunna have to correct you here! The pride leaves baltimore january 2nd and doesnt arrive back until march 12! Im guessing the cruise line wants to avoid having the staff shoveling the deck if a snow storm happens to rill through baltimore on a port day. Or first day sailing with 20* twmps before the windchill!

  8. Can you describe the details of this "Electronic" LIVE poker please? That kind of is self contradictory.

Its a a table with 10 seats each seat has a private screen and one big one in the middle. Its dealt like a poker game and you play with other people at the table just no actual dealer all electronic

  9. If you want more room book an Oceanview. They incorporated the balcony space into the room so it is bigger. Standard interior and balcony are really about 185 sq ft and are the same size.

How is it possible they're the same size if a balcony has a couch and an interrior only hasa bed? I believe you may be referring to the 4k (interrior with french door) which is a standard size ov/ balcony room but still considered interrior.

    Hi all,

I'm looking at Legend and Spirit and comparing room sizes.

Reviewing the deck plans, extended balcony rooms are shown larger than standard balcony rooms, which in turn are shown significantly larger than outside and internal rooms. However they are ALL reported as the same size - 185sqft - plus any balcony space (40, 60 sqft etc).

To bring it home with a crystal clear example, neighbouring rooms 4103 and 4105 are completely different sizes on the plan but both reported as 185sqft.

Does anyone know where to find the real sizes? Or are they all actually the same size and the deck plan is incredibly misleading?

Hoping to book a balcony room as they appear to be much bigger than inside rooms, but wont if it's actually the same size.

    Thanks!!

As far as answering your question, rooms 4103 and 4105 are different class staterooms. Like mentioned above 4105 is a 4k which is technicaly an interior but not really. While 4103 is an actual interior 4b meaning it will be smaller due to the subtraction of the couch and any window.

  10. 12 cans. Other packaging (four packs, six packs, or whatever) is irrelevant. Some folks recommend putting them loose in their own bag so you're not left with ripped up packaging after they open them for inspection.

They'll open a sealed 12pack of say pepsi? Was thinking about opening and super glueing it closed filled with bud light. Color matched thought it was a good idea

  11. I know what carnivals b:eek::eek:ev policy is as far as 12 cans. But my question is what if i bring redbull thatcomes in 4packs? Can i bring 3 or is it like a 1case limit? Also on board i know they serve rockstar energy does anyone know the specific varitys served? Sailing the pride out of baltimore in 2 weeks if that changes anything!

  12. Booked a balcony gtd room for the pride in 2 weeks.got the room assigned 28 days prior to sail date. Ended up with an extended balcony on deck 7 but its against one of the parts where the spirit class ships jut out thus blocking my view forward.

  13. I just purchased FTTF for my sailing in the pride august 7 out of baltimore. Do you guys believe that FTTF is worth is on this cruise. It stops in orlando nassau and freeport so we dont get to use the first tender and cut the tender line perk.

  14. Has anyone used the new wifi plans? If so can anyone tell me if with the social plan i know its not listed but i believe i read it somewhere that you can use imessage for iphone? Does anyome have any backround on this?
