I'm assuming there is ni particular dress code for dinners at the lodges? We are leaving in a few days and I'm desperately trying not to overpack!

Do the Princess lodges have hair dryers in the room? I really hate to have to pack one.

My husband and I also decided to do a cruise/land tour. I really wanted to go DIY but my husband actually participated in the planning for this trip (usually I'm the planner and he is the finance guy). He didn't want to drive and miss the scenery and drag luggage (including cruise luggage) in and out of hotels. I guess I can't blame him. I admit there are lots of things I wanted to do that we will miss but we figure we can go back and do a DIY land trip in a few years.

Thanks to you both for your advice, I had really kind of decided to cancel this prior to writing this post but I wanted to see if anyone else had gone on the tour and enjoyed it. We are going to be at the lodge for three nights so we are spending a day in Seward and I booked a river float for the next day instead of the Cooper Landing Tour. I think it makes sense to spend a day mostly relaxing and enjoying the scenery there.

Has anyone ever taken the Explore Cooper Landing Tour while staying at the Princess Kenai Lodge. I can't find any reviews about it and I am thinking it might not be worth it. Thanks!
