To try and clear up the steward service issue, carnival did change their policy a few years ago to give guests a choice of when they wished to have service. Stewards are supposed to give the guest the card to fill out themselves which displays the three options 'AM' 'PM' 'Both'. Some stewards orally ask the question rather than hand out the card and frequently miss out the 'Both' option hoping to lighten their workload. In summary there is a policy but it is implemented differently by different crew on different ships.

Just saw a really cool video on YouTube about a planned carnival ship from the early 2000s, I have never heard of it and it's really cool to see what they were planning, definitely worht the watch.

Camp Ocean/ Carnival will open approximately 30mins prior to the first excursion leaving so make sure you have a ship excursion, just tell the staff which excursion you are on and the time you anticipate being back in board, they do offer lunch and dinner and also change diapers if they are provided.

I think if the kids are under 10 shorts & flip flops should be fine but 10+ they should wear full length pants and closed shoes, tennis shoes should be ok as long as they are not bright neon.

Carnival have recently announced that on the Carnival Horizon the waterworks will be Seuss themed, as for as I could tell the slides were the same as the vista just with a different name. I think that CCL chose the wrong children's brand to me books are dying and dr seuss is a thing of the past and there are so many other great brands to choose from and I think they have realised this by partnering with My Little Pony & Transformers - but thats my opinion.
What do you guys think?

I think it is completely ridiculous you are encouraging people to break the rules and drop off their luggage early yet you are probably one of those people who call out carnival for not enforcing their rules, you also say one of you teach - Setting a great example, not.

All ships from all lines break down at some point its just that some breakdowns are publicised more than others and maybe carnival is having an unlucky spell and we won't see another breakdown for a few years, Triumph was a engine fire not a propulsion problem so I don't know where you've got that from. IMOP things breakdown especially when they are as complex as a cruise ship and get so much wear it's what the cruise line do to fix it is what counts.

If they are both over 21 then, yes they can. It's only if someone is under 21 that they need a person over 25 in the cabin with them.

Unless they are married or in the military, the answer is no.

Although Oasis has more activities most of these your child can't do so there is no point in spending the extra $$. As a side note the sauna on the Breeze is not complimentary, and if your child is still in diapers/ pullups they will not be allowed into the kid programs on Oasis but will on Breezes as they will change them. One thing to remember is that kids aren't allowed in ANY pools/ slides/ hottubs on the Breeze whereas on oasis there is a diaper friends splash park. My overall choice would be Carnival but my signature may indicate why...

There are currently three shows onboard the Liberty, Welcome Aboard, Wonderful World and Just Rock. You don't book seats but there is two shows every night so getting a seat shouldn't be a problem.

1) It is ok but must be in a tucked away area
2) Bring a bucket and scoop it up out the pool
3) You CAN NOT put the water back in the pool as it is "contaminated" ask a member of crew and they will instruct you as where to dump it.

Food is not available on the sunshine period, the ship was not built with the RFP therefore there is no adjoining galley to prepare the food, food is only available on those ships were it was purpose built.

It has neither, no big screen so impossible to have movies and basketball court was removed in drydock to make way for waterworks.

Would say so as better lido deck seating, Lanai, sushi, pasta bar on dream and it has just come out of drydock.
