  1. Not on most closed-loop cruises.

Personally, when outside the US or it's territories, we use passports but there is a whole slew of people here afraid to take their passports out of their room safe

I took a photo of my passport and emailed it to myself and also made a copy instead of taking my passport off the ship with me.

  2. Hey all, OP here. We had a great time on our cruise and I was able to get a lot of these questions answered. I plan on starting my review in the next week, and I will post a link here once I do. You'll be able to find answers there!

Awesome! Can't wait to read your review.

  3. I'll be onboard the Liberty a week from now (woohoo!!) and am willing to take pictures or find answers to questions. I know the Liberty is a older ship so most questions might have answers already, but does anyone want to know anything specific or want to see anything in particular?

I will be writing a review with photos and scans of the Fun Times once we return!

My Family and I are sailing in August, would love to see your photos and to read about your experience aboard the Liberty upon your return.

    Happy Sailings

  4. My boyfriend and I will be going on our first cruise in November. We used the website called www.goportcanaveral.com and they have package called fly snooze and cruise. A shuttle to picks you up at the air port takes you to the hotel, the next morning the shuttle takes you from the hotel to the cruise terminal, then the day you get back to port canaveral and disembark the shuttle picks you up at the terminal and takes you back to the air port. Price includes hotel room, I think we spent $159 total. So not bad at all

We also purchased the Fly Snooze & Cruise package for our cruise in August at $149.00 (cost us) it's such a great deal.

  5. I have booked room 7220 on the liberty because it shows an empty space next to my room. Does that mean I will have a larger balcony?:) My SIL told me to look for that. If anyone has been in this room or knows please teel me.

    Hello

Can you tell me about your stay in cabin 7220? husband and I booked this cabin for our cruise in August of this year and would like to know more about it and if this is a good choice.

    Thank you

  6. Were you nervous? Were you excited? How old were you? How many people did you do it with?

I know many people are eager and nervous at the same time when they go on their first cruise. I remember all the excitement and anticipation but I wasn't nervous at all. My inlaw is coming on this cruise with us and she is nervous as this will be her first time sailing on water. She has never even been on a boat. I would love to hear how you felt when you first cruised.

I was 17yrs old when I took my 1st cruise (Princess cruise line) and I was very excited. It was a graduation gift from my grand mother and it was 5 of us my grandparents, aunt, cousin, and I. Now here it is 35 years later i'm taking my 2nd cruise and my husbands 1st and I am OVERLY EXCITED! I feel like a kid in a candy store ;)

  7. Thanks. We always print up a stack of personal calling cards with our name and email address to share with new folks we meet aboard the cruise, so we will surely have something we could use to fill that slot.

Thank you for this idea, I just created a template to print out my new PERSONAL CALLING CARDS! :D

  8. I have had a cruise booked on the liberty from Galveston for a while for sept 24 but was able to buy FTTF today, so my question is my lugged tags and boarding pass are already on my print luggage and boarding pass and doesn’t have FTTF on them, How does it work when I get to the port?

You will need to reprint you documents/tags and FTTF will show on your once you have printed them

  9. Hello Fellow Cruisers

After our 4 day cruise my family has decided to stay for a few extra days in Orlando. As it stands we currently have transportation from the port back to the airport through a hotel package that we purchased earlier. Can someone advise on a way that we can get a shuttle from the port to the hotel near the Universal studio area instead of going back to the airport then take another shuttle from the airport to the hotel and of course we will need transportation back to the airport?

    Thank you

  10. We will be going on Carnival Liberty this Thursday for a family cruise! Can't wait![emoji2] [emoji572] [emoji568]

If anyone has any questions let me know. I'll be doing a review when I return.

  12. Hi Cruise Friends-

Has anyone used Go Port Canaveral to book hotel accomodations and shuttle service? I can't find any reviews online about the company. They offer a pretty great deal! Airport pick up transportation to Hotel for 1 night, Transportation to the cruise terminal and then back to the Airport. For a family of 9, I was quoted $519. Please share your reviews and comments.

    Happy future sailing,

    Secretv2

I used goportcanaveral.com for our upcoming trip in August and got a package deal for $149.00 for 2 people, I booked 2 rooms for friends that are joining us.

    Happy Sailings :)
