Ken- We are looking forward to following your adventure. This trip is on our bucket list. I really like your B2B idea. We were on the Sapphire for the 32-day adventure in November and had fantastic service. In reserve dining we had Carlos and Mary as our waiters.....what a treat!!

Seafan, My husband and I share the one device internet plan and use it on four devices. There is a popup question when you sign-in asking if you want to disconnect the "live" device. It is super easy and a no brainer for us on our 32 day cruise.....nope we are NOT going to pay for the multi device plan.

Ken,
Many thanks for your live from. We will be visiting a few ports in Japan next March, so I appreciate your details. I do have one question. For the tour of Tokyo with airport drop off what was the earliest flight time they were allowing? We are trying to decide between two flight times back to the US.
Many thanks from your fellow traveler on the Panama Canal cruise 😀

Yes, we were offered the cruises above or 5% of the price of our cruise as a future cruise credit to be used in two years. I will take the second option and apply to another cruise I have booked.

I am in a group that was planning on joining the ship on the May 18th cruise. The TA for the group was just told this morning of the cancellation. The email from Oceania did not state a reason for the cancellation.

Ken,
Thanks for posting your link on the Princess page. We were on the Panama Canal cruise with you and are enjoying all your posts for this wonderful cruise. Have a great cruise!

Also, when you enter via the airport you must obtain a small piece of paper by scanning your passport. Keep this small piece of paper....you will need it when your passport is checked at the various ports.

My shareholder credit also appeared to go into a blackhole in mid-July. I resent it three weeks later and received the credit the next day. I would resend the request stating that this is a second attempt.

Ken - We are going to be joining you on this cruise. We have spent 40 days on the CB with the last cruise being Sept 2019. Since we are staying in our usual room we will be able to tell if there were any updates to the Window Suites. We hope to meet you onboard.

The below was posted on the Roll Call for the first cruise post-drydock. It is pretty interesting.
I am not sure how many of you follow TickTock captain Tim has provided a whole bunch of videos of the dry dock in Portland.

When we went through this channel i(departing St Petersburg) n September 2018 on the Regal the captain blasted The Love Boat theme the entire time we were passing by. Everybody on the decks cheered loudly.

Looks like Venice isn’t going to be much fun anymore. 2 hr bus ride to get there from port!
I am hoping that they can make some alternative excursions for the cruises that have multiple days in Venice. I personally do not want to sit in a bus for 4 hours on an excursion.

We actually visited this in 2014. Our guide supported the "Cat Ladies" so we were given a tour ....amazing place.

Danish Viking, So sorry for my late thanks for all your help to plan our trip to Copenhagen and the surrounding area. We really enjoyed our visit. Best wishes for a wonderful New Year!

Tell me where tour hotel is and I can pinpoint the nearest store.
Danish Viking, We will be staying at the Scandic Copenhagen. We plan to go shopping for sundries (shampoo etc) and wine in addition to my husband Sriracha sauce. Many thanks

I have now done a search on 2 major chains (COOP and Netto) and they both have it and COOP had it in many versions.
COOP are Fakta, Superbrugsen, Irma and others.
Many thanks.....my husband is sooo happy!!! Your thread is so helpful.

Danish Viking,
We were wondering if Sriracha sauce (a hot chili sauce - in the US supermarkets in the Oriental section) is available at grocery stores in Copenhagen? We have a long cruise and my husband needs some spice for the bland ship food😀 I would like to avoid weighing down my suitcase with a bottle from the US.
Many thanks for all your help in planning our trip.

Hope someone has done this tour! I like the idea of doing a train rather than a bus to Berlin. DH and I are train people. However, Princess site just says the train is reserved just for Princess cruisers and that it is not air conditioned. That kinda concerns me in the fact we would be using it the beginning of September. Also is the train car considered first or second class? Any specific information about the train would be greatly appreciated.
Pooh
Pooh,
I have friends that used the Princess train several years ago. They had a problem with the coupling on their car and missed going to Berlin. Their car was uncoupled and they were left at the side of the track. After a significant wait a bus showed up and took them back to the ship.

Many thanks for your excellent review. I have added this cruise to my bucket list.

They are also clearing out rats in NZ to save the penguins and birds in the fjord area.

Ken,
Many thanks for taking us along on your fantastic voyage. Safe travels home. We did the South Pacific cruise this past October....it was WOW! We had 31.5 days of smooth as glass seas. We didn't see very many birds or sea life when we in between ports.
