Hi,

First time cruisers, so have a few questions. How long does it take to disembark from the ship? We arrive into Galveston on Sunday morning. We have a late flight out of IAH (7:20pm) so are in no real rush to get there, but would like to know how long, as we need to arrange a shuttle to get us to the airport.

What time should we the book the shuttle pickup for?

We have a late flight 7:20pm back to New Zealand from Houston Airport. Wondering what our options are to occupy time from when we get off the Liberty, and head to the airport in Houston? We will be catching a transfer back to Houston airport, but will still have quite a few hours to fill. Is there anything to do near Houston airport or any shopping near by?

Thanks for your replies. So pretty much it will be cool when leaving Galveston and arriving back, and then warm when at other ports. Would be great to have some beach weather. Is the pool deck warm when crusing to these ports? Or is it quite windy?

We are new to crusing and this will be our first time cruising the Carribean. We will be with our two girls, and it will be their first time on a cruise, so they are super excited. We will be cruising on Liberty in early January. Will it be warm and swimming weather as we get closer to Cozumel and Belize etc? We are from New Zealand so are not quite sure of the weather/temps etc in that part of the world. Will it be warm enough to swim on the cruise and at beaches?
