My family of 5 is taking a cruise this summer and I’m having trouble finding a way to get from Port Everglades to Miami airport.
im nervous about trying Uber as I don’t have much experience with it and as a group of 5, we’d need an XLandi don’t know how easy that is to get -
We have a cruise coming up and will need to book bubble excursions, however, I’m worried they will book up before I can get on board and use our OBC to pay for them.
Has anyone booked an excursion from home and then once on board, gone to the excursions desk and cancelled their excursions and rebooked it using OBC? -
We’re leaving on a cruise in October from Miami but I can get better flights to Ft Lauderdale.
can anyone recommend a hotel (preferably Hilton) that will pick us up at the airport and take us to the Miami cruise terminal? -
I’d love to do a New England sailing next year to replace the one we should be embarking on today (😭😭), but with our kids and schedules, it looks like my only option is Empress sailing out of New Jersey next summer.
Has anyone stayed four in an OV cabin on Empress? How was it? -
My family of 6 is looking to rent a car for the day when we visit St John NB. Avis doesn't have any large vehicles available. Does anyone know of another car rental that is within walking distance of the port?

Does anyone have a picture of the menu from the MDR for Christmas dinner? Bonus points if it’s from the Breeze

Having early dinner helps. Camp is closed at 5-7. Activities start getting underway at 7:30
They can eat at the buffet with the camp you deliver the kids to the buffet by 6pm they eat with the counselor who takes them back to camp at 7.
We keep the kids with us in the MDR then take them to camp when we are done
how old are the kids?
At the time of the cruise they will be 14 (she will likely stay with us), 9, and 7

We are taking our three kids with us on a cruise next February. I know there is a way for the kids to have dinner with us in the MDR and then go to kids club.
We’ve ever taken our kids on a cruise before so I’m not quite sure how it works. Can someone fill me in?

We leave this week for Barcelona and our cruise aboard Symphony. Prior to boarding, we are staying a couple of night at an Airbnb. Normally, I would ask the desk clerk at the hotel for a stapler to attach our luggage tags but since we aren’t staying at a hotel, I’m not sure what to do.
Any suggestions?

Thanks MIKEWUK! Great info on the Solarium! I’ve never been on a RC cruise so it’s all new to me and the Bistro sounds awesome!

I read that Flight doesn’t commence until May 20th, the day we disembark the ship.

I really hope that isn’t true. :( I was really looking forward to seeing it and missing it by one sailing would be a bummer!

Thanks MIKEWUK!
I’m happy to know the ship doesn’t feel crowded!
Did you eat at...is it Solarium Bistro??
Also, is Flight being performed yet? I was really looking forward to it but I have a feeling it’s not ready yet

I have never cruised to Alaska BUT i have lived there!
Denali- eat at a place called Salmon Bake. Amazing food and fun atmosphere. The floors are all slopped bc it’s built on a mountain
Anchorage- Moose’s Tooth Pizza. The BEST pizza you will ever have! 100% worth the wait. Or Snow City Cafe. Great breakfast! Or Glacier Brewhouse. Eat all the fresh salmon you can!

I’ve never taken a cruise to Alaska but I’ve lived there before. I would recommend booking on your own and renting a car. While the train would be nice, you won’t be able to stop and take pictures of the amazing things you are passing. And you will pass some amazing things! The drive from Anchorage to Seward was always a favorite of mine.

Just returned from our sunshine cruise with our 3 year old and will try to write a short review. Any questions in the meantime?

Did you use the kids club? If so, how was it? We’ve never taken our kids on a cruise before so no idea how it is. Did you take your child to dinner with you in the MDR?

I’ve tried searching, but haven’t had much luck. Can anyone point me towards a review of a FAMILY review on the Sunshine?
I’ve just booked our first family cruise for next year and I would like to read up on other families experiences, tips, etc

I would recommend being on a ship around June 21 just for the summer solstice. It’s the longest day of the year and in the “land of the midnight sun”, this day is widely celebrated

I’m interested in booking a cruise on the Sunshine in 2019. As a family of 5, I’d really like connecting cabins, preferably balcony. After looking at the deck plans, i can’t find any connecting balconies.
Does anyone know if connecting balconies exist on Sunshine?

No excursions offered??
in Cozumel
Posted
I have a cruise booked for June with RCCL. I’ve noticed, in the last couple of weeks, that there aren’t any excursions listed for Cozumel.
does anyone know what would prompt that?
