Has anyone done this excursion with Shore Excursioneer? Any info on this beach area? Only 4 reviews on the site and they're older.

Has anyone done the observer tour, where you don't snorkel but just hang out and explore the island? Is it a good option for a beach day in Belize? I'm just not finding many other options, and would love opinions on this excursion. Is there good food and drink ? Is there shade on the island? Thanks!

Thank you again! Definitely leaning toward Blue Kay. Tropicante's
Food has great reviews- did you find the food at Blue Kay comparable? That's my only hold up- my fiancé is putting up with my love of beach time for a trade off of great food [emoji1]

I have reviews with tons of pictures for both Almaplena and Blue Kay (in my signature line). They may help you out a little bit on what to expect them to look like. :)
Thank you, I will do that! I started looking at your review of Blue Kay, and your pics are amazing!! [emoji7]
If you had to choose one of the 2 to spend the day today, which would you choose?

Thanks so much, that's helpful! I'm thinking we will narrow it down to Blue Kay or Tropicante. Sounds like both are good choices!

So after months of research, my fiancé and I knew we wanted to spend our Costa Maya day at Maya Chan. It's our first cruise and we want a nice relaxing beach day with beautiful clear water, good food and plenty of drinks. When I emailed to reserve chairs, I got a response that they are booked for the day we will be there. We are now trying to decide between the 3 beaches I mentioned in the title. Priorities are beautiful views and good food . We would love any input that might help us decide!
Thanks [emoji4] Amy

My fiancé and I would like a beach day excursion with the option of snorkeling. I was leaning toward Goffs Caye, but read that there's not much shade available. We
Can't spend the day on a beach without shade, for health reasons. Any other recommendations?

Great pic Carolina Girl 99! Thanks for the visual- can't wait to try Walala! My fiancé is a coffee and espresso lover, so we are excited to bring home lots of coffees to try.

Thanks for all the replies and the warning about not opening the balcony door! Wouldn't have realized that.

We are cruising the magic on Sat. We have an aft balcony on deck 8.
Never cruised before, so I won't be able to compare. Sure hoping we made the right choice[emoji2] Hopefully I can check in when we get back with a review[emoji41]

We are interested in getting some good coffees in different ports on our Western Caribbean cruise. Any recommendations?

Thank you both for responding. Our cruise is in April to the Caribbean. I hadn't thought about it being uncovered and overly hot. I appreciate the insights! Either way, I'm excited for the views it will afford!

Thank you, that's great info! I think we will spend a lot of time on the balcony, and that view appealed to me. Good to know about the white noise; we both sleep better with white noise. Thank you! Amy

Hello, we just booked our first cruise (we had to cancel a Halloween cruise due to health issues) and paid extra for an aft balcony on deck 8 of the carnival magic. Just wanted opinions on whether it's worth the extra cost?

Thank you both- the ruins definitely appeal to both of us, and our other excursions are relaxing beach days with some snorkeling and drinking thrown in, so a more active excursion would be good.

My boyfriend and I are booked on our first cruise in October. I am having so much fun with the planning! I have a pretty good idea about which excursions we want to do in all of our ports with the exception of Belize, and would love recommendations. Thanks!

I use a key chain with an larger anchor charm on it on it. It has 2 hooks. One hook gets attached to my key card. The other hook is used to attach/unattach it to my beach shoulder bag, cross body purse, belt loop, etc. I have found this to be most effective.
I love this idea!! Thank you for sharing. I am booked for my first cruise in October, and all the small planning details are keeping me excited!

Thank you so much for the info! Our cruise sails October 30, and we just realized they will celebrate Halloween! We are pretty excited!

My boyfriend and I just booked our first cruise. We are on the Victory, room 8232. I read earlier in the thread that that is a good cabin- is that the case on every ship?
Thanks! Amy
