    I just couldn't believe they would just cancel those packages like this, but your explanation seems plausible. Thank you!

     

    It would be great if you also just post a quick information if you get a confirmation from Carnival or another authority. We are going to check with our agency too.

     

    Hopefully, the service with drinks and stuff is not as bad as it seems right now, before we booked the cruise we had a much better impression of the service.

  2. Did you book through a travel agent? If so, they should have notified you, but we got notification from both CCL and our travel agent.

    Are you sure this is a serious message? When did you get it? Did you contact Carnival if this letter is correct? We are going on the same Cruise as you are and we didn´t get any information on special taxes.

    And also, do they mean, normal price + 15% tip + 24% tax?

    Or how do I have to understand this letter?

    I'm a little confused....
