My first cruise was March 2002 out of Long Beach on the Carnival Elation. I was 5 months pregnant and my DH and I wanted to get away before our daughter was born.

We did anything and everything that was listed in the daily schedule.

That was 15 years ago and we have our 32nd cruise coming up next month.

We love cruising. No cell phone. No emails. No work. Love it.

The cruise line does not care where you spend your time as long as you get back on time for final call.

The airport of Miami is a much better airport in my opinion. FLL is very small in comparison. Often not enough seat in the terminal on the weekend due to cruise passengers.
