    Missing Itineraries (20 itineraries disappeared)

Today we booked a Bermuda cruise on the Joy for May of 2024. The booking is very glitchy (showing Alaska Excursions instead of Bermuda) and I cannot find the itinerary on the website. When you click Bermuda and filter for May and June of 2024 both itineraries are gone.

565 were available this morning and now there are only 545

I also have a booking on the NCL Sky for February 2025 to Japan and that one is gone as well 😞

More cancellations coming our way? Positive is I'll have a bunch of coupons 🙂

Sky is replacing Sun in Australia 2025  so yes SKY canceled according to my sources.

After the sub spectacular Prima TA, nevermore was said by me, the raven, and many others.

Well never say never. We are going live in 19 days, 2 days pre-cruise in Rome, and 21 days on the Viva.

So many “firsts" for us on this adventure. We are still burn’t out from the NCL Star cruise but super excited about our next adventure.

This will be our seventh and eighth cruise this year. We have been blessed by good health, retirement, excellent bargains, and surprising coupons found in MyNcl.

Thanks to all the negative reviews on the Prima and, a change in the Viva TA original itinerary we saved over 2K. This allowed us to book the 10-day cruise prior to TA sailing out of Rome.

Prices continued to drop and we saved additional money on both cruises before the final payment.

Great Graphs and thank you - pity you did not put October 2023 on there it dropped further

Good Morning Puerto Plata, Costa / Carnival Venezia heading towards Amber Cove. A very early wake up this morning, an elderly woman was knocking on our door, don't know what she wanted since she was speaking Spanish, hope she finds the right cabin. Did the unthinkable last night and got in line at 8 PM for  9 PM Syd's,  wasn't the first one in line, about 15 PAX were already in line.

    Nothing shameful at all.

As you immediate recognize in your first sentence,,, it's called "marketing". If you are frustrated with NCL, then don't sail on NCL. But the grass is not greener on the other side... all cruise lines use similar "marketing".

If you are trying to compare current prices,,, for anything,,, to something 3 years ago pre-covid, you are going to find that things are more expensive. In your country, is there anything that costs the same or less than it did 3 years ago? Why should a cruise line not be more expensive? Why should a cruise line not try to make up the losses of being unfairly singled out and shutdown for a protracted period,,, something no other travel industry business was subjected to?

You read posts here on Cruise Critic all the time about people who saved money by re-booking after a new "sale sale sale" starts.

Sadly as always you forget that the world is not the US. In the UK Free at Sea intial promotion  had to be modified as it infringed the standards we apply. It now shows as an upgrade.

I've never sailed with Capt. Kate or on Celebrity (and likely won't). But, from everything I have read, heard, and experienced through social media, she needs to be the role model for every cruise ship captain. Enough of these old Greek, Italian, and Scandinavian dudes. We need people with gravitas that care about more than steering the boat. I've never been impressed by a NCL captain.

nah yuo are wrong Frank Juliannsan and Mikhil Hilden

Good point.  Maybe new projects of some sort, not sure.

But Martin I. isn't GM on Prima or another ship and has taken a different position.

Have never sailed with Nelson but there will be Viva GM Nelson.

    Looking forward.

He is a good guy and really knows the industry.

Nelson Martins is on the Viva opening it. He will be the GM. Before arriving at the Viva he was GM on the Prima for some months, arriving there from a vacation he took when he left the Epic. The current plan is that he will be moving on to open the next ship, whenever.

Metin Camurlu, who has most recently been GM on the Getaway, will be F&B on Viva, taking over as GM when Nelson takes on vacations.

    Marcia

Many thanks for this - I had said months ago that Neson was  to be the GM on the Viva and one poster told me I was wrong. My information I know was correct

Someone asked about Captain Teo Grbic so I put him on the list.

Over the last several years beginning pre COVID-19, a number Norwegain staff members left for all kinds of reasons.  A number died from COVID, some from cancer and some for other reasons.  Sad for all of them, thier families and thier friends both staff and passengers.

I am not sure what you are driving at. I simply put on some names we have met over the years. Of course there are others and that's for other people to talk about.

I am not sure why you felt it needed your input to add where they are now. I actually left it off as this is a NCL website. Were you just showing that I know them too"

BTW - Have you checked your Viva info yet?

    Have a nice day!

    Klaus Lugmaier--- Still with NCL

    Denis Prguda--- Still with NCL

    Teo Grbic---Left NCL

    Armamdo DaSilva--- Retired

    Sean W---Left NCL

    Adrain Bica---Left NCL

    Boris Kojic---Do not know

Let's correct this. I was talking of crew still on the ships and was well aware of the situation. Who is Teo Grbic not on my post?

Also we should add Captain Mikael Hilden

And I forgot Prem Kanikanara  (First class HD/GM)

You seem to have rudely not copied Papi and Richard Janicki who should always be remembered both of whom were giants of the industry.

BTW check your facts regarding the Viva.

    Denis is soon to retire

    Armando is not retired

    Sean W Retired

Brois Kojic (I am in touch with but do not need to disclose)

  11. I know this is about the current crew but I can not help reminding myself of the greats of the past,

The late Great Papi still missed by so many

Another great who left us too soon Richard Janicki -

    Mustafa Gulbahar - amazing

    Errol Nelson - Wonderful man

    Klaus Lugmeir  -Unique truly unique

    Dennis Preguda

    Armando Da Silva

    Sean W.

    Adrian Bica

    Boris Kojic

And many many more Thank you for making our cruises so special and to Richard and Papi we know you watch from upon high fly high gents,

Many years ago, I met a young man on The Pearl as a Maitre'd.  From there he began a Restaurant Manager, Food and Beverage Director, Assistant Hotel Director and now he is a Hotel General Manager.  I am not positive at the moment but I think he will open the Viva as Hotel General Manager.  So many staff I have met have gone on to become Senior Officers.  It is nice to know where they are and how they are doing.
