Have booked GTY Balcony 2x in the past and they were both assigned about 30 days before sailing. Just my personal experience.

Here we go again - its the parents - no its not always and my experience is that the kids are on holiday and when the parents are not around they misbehave. Kids will be kids and you get more on school holidays but they are on most cruises whatever tine of year. NCL rarely in our experience enforce the adult only policy as it would require each and every hot tub to be monitored and frankly who cares.

Who cares? Seems like a lot of adults who actually pay for the cruises....

Uber will likely be cheaper from LGA.

Taxis out of LGA are metered versus a flat fare for JFK.

I live in NYC and have found Uber / Lyft to be cheaper than a taxi especially if LGA is the airport in question. Check prices on both apps before calling one! I'd ballpark $50 from airport to Times Square.

I preferred Taste/ Savor over Manhattan Room. I found the service more "turn and burn" style in the larger MDR (Manhattan Room) where as I actually made some great connections with staff in the smaller more intimate dining rooms. Ask if Jovie is working! He was such a great waiter!

Obviously Haven first... was Casinos at Sea next? Or were Latitudes next (platinum+ etc)?

I've heard this has been boarding policy for the Gem for a while.

However, I've also heard that for the larger ships (e.g. Breakaway before it switched routes) it's Haven, then CAS, then P+ etc.

Can anyone comment on recent boarding process for the Escape out of NYC?

3% Fee at the Casino. Take money out at the casino cage. Might be cheaper overall depending on how much money you're trying to take out.

Moreover, I was most interested in learning the bar hours. Do they close at 6? 7? 8? I highly doubt it's 11pm.

I've searched all over but can't get confirmation of the Vibe Beach Club hours on the Escape.

Can anyone confirm the hours of operation as well as the bar hours?
