  1. Hello everyone.

My family and I are sailing from Barcalona on 29 June on Celebrity Reflection.  We usually book a package holiday where the coach drops you off at the terminal building.  This year we have booked flights separately and have decided to have a few days in Barcelona first.  We will get a taxi to the port on the morning of departure but how do we know which terminal building we go to as it looks like there are several? All it says on the paperwork is Moll Adossat?

    Many thanks for any help.

When you say send a photography... is that a photograph of the test?   If so that would not be accepted.

What you get when you have a supervised test is you get an e-mail from the proctoring company that states type of test, date and time of test and the results.   I believe that is what the OP has a photo of .

Yes I have printed certificates printed in the pharmacy by the person who monitored the test. That is a picture of it above.

When is your cruise and when did you have the test?

The tests were this morning in my local village pharmacy. The pharmacist watched us do the test, we sat and waited 15 minutes and then he printed a certificate each (as shown) we also got it emailed to us. My original query was that it does not say on the cert that it was supervised. Is this a problem?

Randox Tests is exactly the same

Thank you. And have you travelled ok with one of those?

I just don’t want any issues at the port. I’m supposed to be looking forward to this holiday and yet I’m having sleepless nights about it!

Doesn’t the paperwork say that the test was done at the pharmacy?  Is the pharmacy name and logo there? Is it signed by anyone?  Could you upload a photo of the document (cross out your name) for us to see?

It has the name of the manufacturer at the top and the name and address of the pharmacy at the bottom which I have covered for privacy.  It looks to me like a standard form they use for everyone it has a printed signature at the bottom. 32A67D86-C3BE-4110-99C2-518424F8D77F.thumb.jpeg.2dbcb2b41ec0000ae2f9273f63837ae1.jpeg

You must be cruising today or tomorrow.  You have time to do another if you are concerned about your documentation

I just wanted to know what experience other people had had with the wording. Does it have to say supervisor/monitored on the certificate?  if so we will go and get another one done - if it doesn’t need to say that, I will stick with what we’ve got. Having never done this before I don’t have a clue! And you can understand my anxiety

In person at a pharmacy means it was supervised.  Thats all you need

But I don’t have any proof that’s the thing that’s worrying me. I know that you can get a certificate by doing an unsupervised test where you just send a photograph and they look absolutely the same. So how do they determine that you’ve done the supervise one as opposed to an unsupervised one?

  8. Hi

Fairly new to cruising and we have just had our supervise tests done. I have the certificates printed off in hardcopy format but nowhere on the certificate does it mention that it was supervised/monitored. Will this be a problem. I’m really worried now as I’ve seen posts from people saying that their certs state it’s been supervised.

You pretty much have it down.    All passengers must be present for Checkin.   Initially you are suppose to show up for checkin according to your checkin time.   Civitavecchi terminal is like a big tent but have never seen a line out front.    Possibly due to distance from Rome passengers arrive gradually instead of all at once.

Initially an agent will make sure you have your Vac Certificate, Test Results, Passports etc.   You then enter the terminal and go through security.     After through security there will be lanes setup for either CC Level or Room Level.

Once at the counter the agent will confirm your sea pass and scan them (these will be used for boarding).   They will then check all the Vac Certificates, Test Results, Pasports etc and either accept your picture or shoot a new picture.  They usually also go over the health questionnaire again.   The final step is taking a scan of your credit card.   Once finished you are invited to either wait until called or board the ship (usually just board the ship).    After boarding you can go to your room and your Key Card will be in the mail slot.    Finally you will have to do your safety drill either on the TV or Phone and check in with your muster station.

Thank for this that is extremely helpful

No, they're just interested to see if the tests were done in an "approved" / proctored facility. And the date.

Ours had a lot of Hebrew among the lines, didn't "phase" them....

I see thank you. My husband has had to do them for work over the past few Months but at different pharmacies and clinics and not once has it ever stated on the certificate that it was either supervised/proctored. Even though they all have been supervised  will that still be okay? My son also did one recently at a local chemist where they pharmacist watched him do it and got a certificate and again it didn’t state anywhere on the certificate that it was monitored

They checked all our vaccination dates (we're 2 x vaccinated and 2 x boosted).

Thank you. We are all 2x vaccinated and 1x boosted. What about the covid test certificates? Is it just a matter of checking that they within two days and negative obviously. We are all getting them done at different places so they will all be different certificates. my husband works in London to his will be done down there before he comes home my son and his girlfriend will be doing theirs elsewhere and mine will be done somewhere completely different just wonder if they’ll wonder why they’re all from different pharmacies/clinics.

We checked in in Civitavecchia more than 3 weeks ago.

They thoroughly checked our PAPER Covid vaccinations, along with PAPER Covid antigen test carried out 2 days before sailing.

First I've showed mine, and then I've showed my husband's papers.

I have printed off all NHS vaccination requirements and will print off the test results obviously they haven’t been done yet. When you say checked thoroughly to what extent just reading through checking the dates etc? Don’t know why but just feel nervous about it all! I know we have all the correct paperwork.

  13. Hi me and my family very new to cruising. Due to leave in a few days time just wondered what the general procedure is at Port check in? I understand we will need NHS certificates and negative Covid passes ready But is it fairly straightforward? Can these all be displayed on an app or do we need to have paper copies etc. How thorough is this? Can one person check everyone in or will we have to do it separately?

    appreciate any help thank you😀

They may or may not appear. Apparently this has been an issue on many cruises. I just came off a cruise a week ago, my edocs and luggage tags didn’t show up until 3 days before sailing. Others on my cruise never got them.

    Thank you

The "luggage tags" are the last page of your boarding documents.   If you print on regular paper they come off very often.

Tape one with clear packing tape to achieve suitcase and have the porters at the pier put the regular tag on each bag.

Can’t print anything at all at the moment everything is grayed out

Yes, you can choose embarkation time when you check in using a computer online.  No problem.  Just go to your res. online and click Check-In as soon as it's highlighted (starting 45 days in advance).    We don't own a smartphone, so we always show paper--Passport, original covid vaccination certificate, proof of negative covid test and express boarding pass--in paper form at check-in to the ship.  They photo whatever they need and I don't have to fool around and waste my time trying to download items that are stubborn about downloading.

Ignore insistence that you HAVE to download the app, etc. and use it; it has never mattered at check-in.

    Thank you 🙏
