  3. We did it on the Breeze...We had to Meet in the Atrium at 6:00...We did ours on the fourth night of the Cruise...but that was us...Depending on how many people sign up for it depends on how many nights they do it...They never do it on the first night...and make sure you bring an appetite with you...although the it doesn't look like a lot on the plates by the 7th course you are struggling...Great way to spend 2.5 to 3 hours...

Our bus is scheduled to arrive at Port Authority at 12:10. Don't know how long it'll take to get to Brooklyn from there and will we make it in time.   I'll have to check to see if there is a bus from there to Brooklyn's bus terminal and then how far to pier.  Or as you suggested get a taxi.  Then coming home we had tix out of Port Authority at 1:00 so I'm sure we'll never make it.

I still haven't received any communication from Carnival about this change.  UGH!

You are about 30 minutes from Port Authority to the Pier in Bklyn...

  5. Cruising on the Breeze Nov 24 Eastern Caribbean...Does anyone know what Night they usually do the Chef's Table...Want to Book the steakhouse but hesitant to do so...and don't want to book it the first night even though I am sure that would be a safe bet...Thanks...

  6. Sailing on the Breeze Nov 24, 2018...Signed up for Chef's Table and received a Confirmation email saying our Reservation has been accepted and we will be notified of what day...I want to also Book the Steakhouse but can't because I don't know what night the Chef table is...Has anyone else come across this issue...

  7. I'm also on that sailing. Did you go to the roll call and sign up for the meet and greet? Also, if you have any particular questions, that would be a good place to ask.

No, I didn't sign up for Roll Call...Sailing with my Sister and Brother in Law...Wife hates Cruising so I am going on my Own...

  8. fantastic to here a good review.

doing breakaway in February for first time and also first time on a big ship

Pool area definitely seems to be most consistent complaint along with debarkation.

Can you eat at the bar in OSheehans? Or have to be sat at a table....

Where did you eat lunches and breakfasts since you said you only did Buffet once each meal....

What shows if any did you do? And did you have reservations or wait in line for whatever was avaialble?

We ate ate tables at O'Sheehan's...we ate Lunch at O'Sheehan's and also ate in Bermuda the days in Port...We had reservations for the 2 shows...Rock of Ages and Burn the Floor...Others were No Need...

  9. First The Ship is Beautiful...Clean...and Found All the Crew Members to be Very Nice...

Embarkation was a Breeze...We arrived at the Pier at 10:45 AM and were on the Ship by 11:45...We were prepared for a nightmare from reading previous Posts...We had No Problems...We went and put our Backpacks in the room and met our Room Steward right away...Dinesh was friendly and and was calling us by first names the Very first day...We went to O'sheehan's for Lunch and by 1:30 we were checking out the Ship.

We had the UBP and the Gratuities pkg...I Believe to be the 2 Best Freebies offered by NCL...We upgraded one Dinner at Maderno's the Brazillian Steakhouse which was Very Good...Only Ate at the Buffet for 3 Meals 1 Breakfast...1 Lunch...1 Dinner...Typical Buffet Food...This was my Least Favorite...Savor and Taste shared the same Menu's Daily...The Manhattan Room was also a Good Choice...For a Ship to have 4,000 people on board...Never had a Wait for Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner...also ate at O'sheehan's 1 night...Prime Rib Night which was Good...

During Sea days ...Plenty of Activities on board...many Bar's to choose from and seems like everyone had their Bar of Choice on Board...our's was Shaker's the Martini Bar...Pleasant Barmaids and Bartender's...

Previous posts complained how Bad the Smoking on board was...I on the other hand Never had an issue with Smoker's...Sure there was smoking section's...I would say the worst area was in the Casino...Other than that Not Bad at All..

The worst area on the Ship was Deck 15 the Pool area...Seems like you could Never get near it...of course you had your Chair Hogger's but that's to be expected...The Worst part was you couldn't even get in the Hot Tubs...They have 4 at the Pool area that only fit 6 in a tub...Most of the Hot Tubs had about 6 Kids and 4 -5 Adults in each...Spice H2O had 2 Hot Tubs Adults Only...But Were Always Full We got in it 1 Day...

Cruise Director Dan Dan was Great as was the Rest of His Staff...Capt. Kept us informed everyday of where we were...what was happening...even on Sat when we had Very Rough Seas heading back to NY...

Getting on and off the Ship in Bermuda was also a Breeze...The Ferries to St. George and Hamilton were always on Schedule...Riding the Island Buses is a Must...Great way to see the Island on your Own...We did everything on our Own...

Disembarkation...Also a Breeze...The Ship was Docked by 7:15 and we did the Self Assist where you take your own bags off the Ship and were off and through Customs before 8:00 AM...and in a Cab by 8:10...

    Overall a Great Experience....:)

  10.
