  1. This is my first time on Oasis class so It will be an adventure. The largest I have take is Freedom class. Looking forward to it. My partner doesn’t like to cruise so he is staying home with the dogs. This is my time to unplug and recharge. Safe travels to the port!

Thanks. Yeah my partner is traveling with me on the cruise. I was on Freedom earlier this year and it is a nice ship as well.

  2. If one spouse is Platinum, both spouse are Platinum, regardless of how many points each has earned on his or her own. Both spouses will have their status designation on their Sea Pass cards and both spouses will be entitled to all of the benefits associated with that status.

Thank you all so much for the quick replies! Answered my questions perfectly.

  3. Hi,

Can someone please explain how the linking of spouse’s Crown and Anchor status works? I have already linked the accounts and I know both receive the benefits of the higher point total. I also know the points are kept separate.

My question is does their account now say Platinum for instance if that is my status? Does their sail pass card indicate the higher status?

Upon reaching diamond the other would have lounge access as well I assume. I’m trying to figure out when and how the second person benefits from linking the account and if it is printed anywhere?

    Thanks,

    Mark

  4. Hi everyone!

My partner and I are sailing on RC Harmony of the Seas on August 25, 2018. Anyone else going? We’d love to meet up on the ship.

  5. Sadly, I had the exact same experience sailing solo on Getaway 9/4-11/2016. Lots of the gays at the FOD, but not an especially friendly bunch. I ended up hanging out with a lot of friendly straight folks that I met through CC or on shore excursions. I had an awesome cruise, but I didn't spend any time with the gays and when I did try and strike up a conversation it went nowhere.

I'm late to the party on this one but my partner and I were also on this cruise. We attended the first night and met a nice couple but for the most part it seemed to be one large click. I assumed it was a group traveling together. I hope to have a better experience on my next cruise in a few weeks. Hope to see you on another cruise!
