Cheers [emoji483][emoji898] looking forward to popping in, although may have to find a laundromat to do some washing lol - no public facilities onboard & depending on cost, really don't fancy paying per item

  3. Thank you all for your logs - I only began cruising last year and am hooked. I'm taking my partner for his first cruise on the Ovation of the Seas. I've watched/researched the internet & lots on YouTube and would love to experience a Disney Cruise. Admittedly at first I though it may appear funny gay guy on a Disney Cruise, as fearful of other people's perceptions, but I love the Disney brand & it looks like a lot of fun & was disappointed to learn that Disney doesn't do adults only. Your logs have helped eased my concerns, but now it's a matter of convincing my friends & other half, but shall wait until he has his first cruise experience under his belt lol

    Thanks again

  4. This may be a smidge unorthodox but here goes...

I am obsessed with cruising. Thankfully I have a husband who is as well. The problem is, I also have a brother who shares the love of cruising but has had a heck of a time finding good people to share cabins with. He (Dave) has friends who are cruisephobic and playing 3rd wheel to my hubby and I is not exactly his cup of tea.

In Dave's ideal world, he would cruise at least once a year with a cabin buddy who is interested in exploring new ports/ships, seeking out good food, dropping some $ on Black Jack (you can find Dave in Vegas when he is not on a cruise or working ;), watching shows, etc. He has had some bad luck with cruise partners who either cannot get over being disconnected from cell service or who would rather lay around and not see all there is to see.

I thought I would reach out to this board for suggestions on how Dave can find a good cruise buddy. Any ideas? Preferably it would be someone who lives near him.

    Thanks

Just curious as to location & age etc

    I'm in Western Australia

  5. Can I also suggest some supplements to help boost your immune system - vitamin C, B & D with Magnesium & Zinc

(Vit. D helps your body absorb the vital Vit. C, zinc helps your stomach absorb nutrients such as magnesium & Vit B.)

Antibiotics will fight the infection but can also be taxing on the bod, so hope this helps with recovery

  6. Same as when people grab a handful of grapes or open a package of cookies in the supermarket and munch on a few - it drives up prices for everyone else.

If I grab a drink or eat something I keep the container/package and then put it through at the checkout - besides guilt would otherwise get the he better of me, you're right in saying it makes it worse for everyone else
