Did any of you ever complete your stays? I have 1158 booked but curious if 1150 might be better.

My May 8th cruise was part of the cancellations on March 24th and I received my FCC on May 1st. Still just waiting on cruise planner refund and taxes/fees from that cancellation. So it is definitely a different experience for most.

I think there may be cruises by the end of this year and they will be very different. I am optimistic, but I think seeing how Vegas and Disney open will help provide additional understanding on how public spaces will really work again.

I do not believe they should stop taking reservations. Their policies are pretty clear when making a booking that it is indeed flexible. If future travelers continue to work or have disposable income then they should be able to do whatever they wish with their money. If individuals are strapped for cash they probably should make better choices.
I have has 2 cancellations so far (March and May) and most likely a 3rd cancellation on the way for May, but I will cruise again. Once that cancellation is through I will then have my TA book me for later this year. The res is paid in full and I am OK floating the money for a vacation that I will eventually take. I have 2 bookings for next year already that were on the books before any of this. I recognize that these are my personal choices and will not work for everyone, but they don't have to, that is the beauty of this life, to each their own.
I personally have been impacted by COVID-19, my brother was positive and made it through thankfully. I certainly feel for all of the passengers and crew they have been through it while traveling on board a cruise ship and mourn for those that have lost their lives. The world is frightening during these uncertain times and if you don't wish to cruise again that is your personal choice, please stay off the ship.
Celebrity and Royal are not trying to get over on anyone and I think they have been the most transparent. They are taking care of TA's and making these cancellation processes pretty easy. I worry about the travel industry, will my TA's agency stay afloat, what will happen to her and her employees. So while I still can, I keep booking, and I keep hoping that we get through this to the other side when the time is right.
I look forward to being greeted as Mr. Kevin, raising a glass, sail away, Cafe Al Bacio, a Captain Kate quote from Confucius, a joke from Captain Tasos and warm and friendly crew that make being at sea the best home away from home a vacationer could have.
Slainte,
Kevin

I wouldn't book Chops as a 1 off, I would definitely look into one of the dining packages to make it less expensive. On recent 3 night Mariner, I did the Ultimate Dining Package and we did Jamie's for lunch, Chops for Dinner twice and Jamie's once. On my upcoming Serenade voyage we are doing the Ultimate Dining package. We plan to mix it up between Chops and Giovanni's Table and include Izumi also. We just find the MDR noisy and the food just average and prefer the intimacy of specialty dining.

Thank you, e-mail sent.

There is no option to change my display name

No charge for coffee, muffins pastries to the cabin. I tipped in cash because it is the right thing to do.

Just returned from Mariner of the Seas. There is a $7.95 charge if you choose anything from the "cooked" side ie: eggs, bacon etc.
-
I cannot figure out a way to change my display name.

The reciprocity is probably automatic once you open a Captain's Club account in the same name; but you do need to create a Captain's Club account - the creation is not automatic.
That’s right I had to open both accounts.

Yes, Emerald level with RCCL should equate to the Select level in Celebrity's Captain's Club.
Before your cruise, just call the Loyalty Service Center toll free at (800) 526-9723 and give them your name and RCCL Crown & Anchor membership number to enroll for equivalent level recognition with Celebrity's Captain's Club.
Hope you enjoy your first Celebrity cruise.
I never had to call it just happens. I recently became Diamond with Royal and Elite already shows on my Captains Club account for Celebrity. I actively cruise on both lines. However this is the final match they do. I have to level up on my own with my cruises from this point forward.

I had an on board booking with no ship or dates that so nearly forgot about. I had to have it switched to me from the agency I stopped using. Then when I booked my cruise I had them move it to my agent. At first they said they couldn’t do it but my agent made it happen.

Was just on a 5 night Mexico on Independence Of the Seas. All of the shops on the promenade were giving white paper bags with handles and not the plastic RCI bags for purchases. It was odd as they were much too large for most things people were buying. Perhaps a first step.

We just booked Nov, 2019, on Reflection from Barcelona to Ft Lauderdale.
That is probably the one I will book. Which type of cabin did you go for?

The Celebrity TA crossings are now up for Fall 2019!
-
I gave them my $500 also lol. I love the idea of adults only and am excited to see what they end up doing with their brand. It seems I am addicted to new ships. Seaside in April '18, Edge in December '18 and Bliss in Feb '19. I really enjoy Celebrity but need to sample!

Thanks for posting this I will earn Diamond next Royal cruise which elevates me to Elite! I love cruising Celebrity so much more.

I'm looking forward to booking my first ever TA crossing into Fort Lauderdale, FL, however none of the 2019 dates have been released for booking yet. Can anyone provide a window as to when these will be available?

Hi there!
