I have already talked to Access Department, everything has been noted and I was told on what I need from doctor, etc.
I read the post from Dialysis from a platinum cruiser and she stated she turned everything over to the porters to be hand delivered and that just didn't sit well with me. I honestly didn't think they would do that.
I'm just hoping when I carry on I can take directly to room. Its way too much stuff and heavy to haul around until 1:30. We would have to carry on machine, 7 cs of dialysate and 2 carryon bags full of supplies. That's on top of regular luggage.
Oh the things my husband does for me. Lol
We do plan on a later check-in for that reason so hopefully it all works out.
Thank you all.

I am cruising on Carnival next summer and will be doing treatments on board.
Did you bring all your supplies with you or had liquids delivered by NxStage?
Did you check everything except machine or carry on all?
Can you take your equipment to your cabin when you board or wait until after 1:30?
Thank you so much your your help and suggestions.

Just so you know if you have late dining, you do not check in on HUB app like you do for anytime dining, you just show up at designated time which I believe is 8:00 or 8:15.
The time and dining room will be on your sail and sign card.
I agree to get both rooms linked so the Matre'D will seat you together.
I also don't agree to grab early check in time then show up later when you want to.
We went at our designated time in December and we had appx 45 wait in line to get to checked in before getting on ship. We had 1:00 pm check in time
I think things would go smoother if people tried to stay within check in window.

Thank you all so very much. I was just confused so this really helped me.

Is the Vaccination Attestation the same as the Vaccination Survey that I filled out when I booked a month ago for a December cruise?
I thought I read that you have to fill out another form a few days before cruise, so is that a completely different form?
The survey only asked if we were vaccinated or not. Nothing else.
Thank you for your assistance.

My guest notes say the exact same thing as OP and I booked under a Casino Rate, so that tells me that they could have booked under any number of promotions. I had to call Carnival to verify which code was used.

The door hanger menu are Continental Breakfast items that include cereal, toast, pastries, juice and coffee and maybe yogurt.

You can actually add their booking numbers into your cruise manager (at least you could before change) and then you will be able to order gifts for them. It will ask you for who to deliver it to. When you check out, list it as a gift and use your email for confirmation, they won't know about gift until arrival. We did this for our daughter in law and grandson, they were so surprised.

It does not look like suites get early room access. I would double check before cancelling.

You are allowed to bring 1 bottle of wine per person over age 21. You are also allowed to bring up to a 12 pack of soda in cans per person. Water would have to be in cans, no plastic bottles are allowed to be carried on. All items will have to be packed in carry on luggage only. You can pre purchase water through the fun shops to be delivered to cabin.

You can get a little ship map at guest services desk. They are usually at one end of desk where you can just walk up and grab. They will also have extra fun times there.

We have also taken my daughter and her friend on a cruise. Be sure to get notarized letter from parents. You can find sample letter on internet. We never had to show the letter to anyone, but less stress to have it and not need it than to go without. We also booked them into their own room across hall from us. No problems at all. We did get extra key for their room just in case. I think your daughter will be very happy to have her friend along.

Yes, there is time for shopping if you can still function afterwards. :D
The bus will drop you off at the pier which has a shopping area, or you can ask to be dropped off downtown. If you choose downtown you'll have to take a cab back to the pier. The Bar Hop people are very aware of your ships schedule and will keep their bus on schedule. Since you are not in Cozumel very long you might want to go straight to the pier to shop so you don't end up worrying about getting back in time. Plus, it helps you avoid the last minute "Running of the Drunks."
FYI - We loved the bar hop, and we're not kids. ;-) We would absolutely do it again.
On our April cruise, we've decided to hire a cab for the day and do our own version of the bar hop. I'll come back and post a review of it after I compare the two!
Thank you so much for info. Were not that young anymore either and thankfully drinking is not my main agenda, I just really want to see the Wild Side. We are also looking at other options like getting a taxi or hiring a driver for the day. I don't run, drunk or otherwise :D

We are thinking about booking the Bar Hop on our next Cruise. We will be on the Triumph and will be in Cozumel from 9 am to 4 pm. Has anybody done this excursion in this time frame? I was hoping to have a little shopping time before or after, is there time for that? I don't want to be one of those people that has to run for the ship at last moment. Thank you for your help.

My understanding is that the new Liquor and Tobacco tax is only for Texas residents only. So if you live out of State and leaving right after cruise, you do not have to pay those extra taxes.

Thanks everyone. I think I read somewhere that Tom of the Bar Hop may be the same Tom from Paradise Beach. Do you know if he the same guy?
-
Thank you Laughing Angel. I will definitely look at that thread and the other options too. We actually had an excursion picked out on Carnival, then it disappeared.
-
Thank you so much for the ideas. Bar Hop might actually be right for us, but I will look at the other options too.

We have been to Cozumel many times but have never been to the "other" side. What Carnival excursion or tour will take us to the East Side of the Island? Suggestions please.

OK stupid question.
If I book Early Saver and the price goes down, I submit for the reduction and get credit. Does the lower price now become my rate to go by for further price reductions?
Thank you for your help.

My understanding is that 8? is a balcony Cabin and the letter determines where it is. The higher the letter the higher up on ship it is.
Example: On Triumph
Deck 6 Upper 8A is forward or aft and 8B is midship
Deck 7 Empress 8C is forward or aft and 8C is midship
It could be 1 deck up or 2 decks up I guess depending on how many Cabin Decks there are.

Thank you so much for this information and that is great to know. We're not with Baxter but maybe not worth the chance. My first time to cruise on Dialysis so it will be an adventure for sure.
