I sailed in June of 2018 on the Escape - I booked a guaranteed balcony and was given a spa balcony (not through the bidding process either). I had access to the thermal suite.

NCL isn’t doing this to ruin anyone’s vacation - people need to remember that someone has most likely lost their life and NCL is doing what they can to help find that person.

I just came back from a western Caribbean cruise and traveled with a Canadian passport that expires 5 months from when I was away. I had no issues other than having to go through a different line at the airport when I was flying into the USA

I just had the spa pass on the escape and was never asked about buying anything extra. As for quietness I found it to be hit and miss sometimes it was silent with just the sounds of the therapy pool but other times there were lots of loud people in the spa - but I didn't let that ruin my time in the spa. Well worth the money

I've used them before in Roatan and Cozumel - everything went well. We had to cancel our excursion in Cozumel and we had no problems doing that
