  1. Hi all I am wondering if anyone would be able to advise us.

We have booked a cruise from 1st Oct 23 for 10 days doing the Greek islands and Istanbul. I have been told that it is to late in the season to do the islands as most shop and restaurants are closed. Has anyone sailed at that time or will be sailing and can advise would be much appreciated.

    Thank you for you assistance.

  2. Hi has any one cruised from Venice to Istanbul in late October into November to let us know if the weather is a problem .

As are looking to book  the cruise for 2023 and thinking it may be to late in the year?

    Any advice would be appreciated

  3. Thank you all for your advise, I know can book the pick up time and understand what is around that area, very much appreciated.

SLDS Thank you so much for the video really enjoyed it and now know where we will be going after the Hypogeum. Also seeing the video it seems pretty flat so that would be good for my brother .

If anyone else has any ideas it would be appreciated as we have hired a van and a driver for the day.

Frantic36 My husband is with my brother and I am hoping he will cope as he really loves that type of thing, I purchased the ticket and arranged it all as a surprise.

  4. Hi all, I am arranging for a tour of the Hypogeum underground at Malta.

Has anyone done this before ? As I am needing some information regarding it.

As I have arranged this for my Brother and my Husband and I am booking a drop off and pick up for them

My questions are does anyone know how long the tour underground is for and when completed is there other things above ground for them to view .

I am trying to work time frame for them as my brother is in his eighties and not that mobile.

I have booked tickets for the 10am tour and I have booked a pick up from the port at 9am, but have no idea what time for pick up? so I can confirm the trans[ort.

Any help would be much appreciated.

  5. Hello

I found this on the CDC  cruise ship web hope it helps you.

    • If you tested positive for COVID-19 infection no less than 10 days and no more than 90 days before the date of embarkation and recovered (regardless of your vaccination status), you do NOT need to get tested before or after cruise travel unless you have symptoms. People can continue to test positive for up to 90 days after diagnosis and not be infectious to others.
      • Travel with a copy of your positive test result and a letter from your healthcare or a public health official that states you have been cleared for travel. The positive test result and letter together are referred to as “documentation of recovery.” If you are asked by officials in a foreign country, you may be required to show this documentation.
      • You also do NOT need to self-quarantine after cruise travel if you have recently (within the past 90 days) recovered from COVID-19.
    • Thanks 1
