Got off the Carnival Splendor last Saturday and I can tell you that there is definitely no dress code for any night in the dining rooms. I was shocked to see shorts, flip flops and yes even a couple wearing swim suits with a t-shirt enter the dining room on elegant night. Spoke to maitre d about the lack of enforcement of the posted dress code and he said that corporate "listened to the people" and relaxed the dress code. I dressed down on the second elegant night to a long sleeved shirt and dockers and was still over dressed. The norm is now t-shirt, shorts, and sandals for any night. They don't even require them to be dressy or clean.

Almost impossible to make a 10:30 flight out of FLL. We have had flights that left a little after noon and still just made it. Airport is very busy and depending on traffic can take quite awhile to get to the airport from POM. Good luck.
