I'm bumping this because it's a fun topic, and I have a cruise coming up in a few days.

 

 

 

There will be a few firsts for sure:

 

 

 

* First time on the Carnival Splendor

 

* First time visiting Grand Turk, Amber Cove, and Curacao

 

* First time out of the country during a presidential election

 

 

 

I might sneak in a few other firsts.

I always say we should remove the safety/warning labels from EVERY item on sale and let the problem eventually sort itself by culling the idiots out of the heard. :rolleyes: #justsaying :D

My sister had basic internet packages on Oasis last month and she called home on messenger to check in on our mom. Worked great. Some people on here have a cow when you say anything about keeping in touch but sometimes it's necessary.

Hi! We are leaving on our first cruise next Sunday (11/5) on the Carnival Splendor. I was wondering if the basic media package will allow us to use the call option on Facebook Messenger? My husband is not traveling with us so I would like to be able to make a quick call if needed without paying a fortune to use my phone data rates. Thanks!
