I have a related question.  What happens if the price goes down after you get off the ship?  Will you still get the percent discount on the new lower price (assuming its before final payment)?

We were on the same (fantastic) 11 day cruise, and had a Celebrity transfer to FCO that had a departure time of 9:30, but we were off the ship at 9:00! As a matter of fact some of the transfer busses had not even arrived yet. So the delay the OP experienced did not last long.

If you're unhappy with your current travel agent you have to be careful making any sort of booking onboard the ship. The cruise lines will usually assign that booking to your current agent. You have to ask to have the booking with no agent assigned.
