Wonder of the seas: Yellow enclosed? Purple open?

Odyssey of the seas: Green enclosed? Orange open?

Freedom of the seas: Green enclosed? Yellow enclosed?

And what about Perfect day at coco cay?

Baloons is made of rubber and not plastic. 🙂  But i do agree the cruise lines has a thousand ways to change to help the Environment. They can start by not making ships in 2019 that runs on heavy oil. LNG is better but still not where we want to end up. Hydogen should be possible to use. Theese baloons is probably not needed every week either.

I thought the 5500+ passengers with the 200K GT size didn't make sense and thought the passenger count was off - it seems the GT number was off. Physically, you can get to 232K GT and still be smaller than Oasis.

How can a bigger volume be smaller? Gross Tonnage is a messure of volume not weight.

Btw, i'm very exited we may have a new class in this size. So many new things they can do to it. 😄

  4. Are you sure you are not mixing up the islands? Your story sound alot like Aruba and the renaissance island.

In Curacao there is this place less then 10min from port: https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g3754516-d4509315-Reviews-Flamingo_Sanctuary_Sint_Willibrordus-Sint_Willibrordus_Curacao.html

Keep in mind that theese are wild birds with theirs wings intact and will not allways be there, but usually is. We just drove by on our way to the beach :)

  5. I don’t think so, and don’t let anyone fool you into thinking you can see them in curacao either.

Sent from my iPhone using Forums

Plenty of Flamingos in Curacao in november 2017.

Also, places like renaissance island aruba, clip their wings so they cant fly away. Things like this should be avoided in my opinion.

  6. I was there is December, great little beach!

Loungers where 12 or 15 USD for two, Taxi ride ws about 10-15 minutes (you pass the flamningo erea aswell), good snorkeling along the rocks to the sides of the beach. arange for the taxi driver to pick you up when retuning, not many taxi's standing there waiting.

  7. Silvermoon 2 is the smallest catamaran with mostly outdoor space, think its 45 feet long. Silvermoon is the newest and biggest cat at 62 feet. Moondance is also new and around 55 feet long, this is a power catamaran with no sails if thats important to you. It usually cruises at low "sailing" speeds, but i did see it pass our hotel last week at probably around 20 knots.

  8. I’d say my musical taste is pretty diverse, but I lean more toward current pop/hip hop for dancing. I’m 37, so I’d probably fall somewhere between the old and young depending on your particular perspective lol.

On allure, both the crowd and music in Blaze seemed to change around 10-11pm, the crowd and music got younger.

I guess it also depends on the sailing, as we did a back to back, and the first sailing Blaze dancefloor was packed with 20-40s, and the second cruise was way more quite.

  9. the engines, the are in part used to power how the ship moves. Most ships have the propellers in the back PROPELLING the ship forward.

Anthem pulls the ship by placing these infront.

My point was that for noise purposes, I would assume the front would be noisier, if there was a difference.

yes engines are used for more the motion on ships but I was only providing info on what i knew

The Azipods (propellers) are in the aft, but they face forwards, thats where the pulling the ship comment come from.

  10. i recently looked at the 10-15 most recent navigator reviews and there are more 5 star reviews then 1-3 stars, so it isnt that bad.

I remember before my first cruise ever, on Allure, i got nervous because of the 1-3 stars reviews but it was all for nothing. The ship was in perfect condition.

I think if everyone on each cruise wrote a review, there would be alot more 5 star reviews, while here on cruisecritic, the review section have become an arena for complaints. When you start spending time on a cruise, taking pictures of dark lightbulbs not replaced. a stain on the carpet in the hallway, some rust outside on your balcony devider etc, you have allready decided you are gonna have a bad time.
