  2. Well…today’s Azamara message just said my call is being dropped, since I’ve been on hold for too long.

    I guess four+ hours on hold is too long.

    Called back and message said sorry lines are full.

     

    When I called yesterday, the Az rep said they would help and I would get a call back this morning 8am central time and a corrected invoice. That didn’t happen.


    It’s great that I have two phone lines, things to do, and this place to vent.

     

    Among the errors we have: it’s showing we bought the Az insurance, but we didn’t .

     

    Our cruise is this month.

    We got our cancelled specialty dining credit card reservations refunded as refundable OBC onboard

    It was too many trips to guest services for me, so I won’t do this again 

     

    It’s been three weeks no OBC refund check yet, but credit card is paid I understand there may be a longer wait for an OBC refund check

    My experience:

    We have a medical supply service here (Apria) 

    You call and they drop off things like scooters, wheelchairs, shower chairs…for a rental fee, and when you are done, they pick everything up I even got a waterproof shower cover for my cast

     

    We rented a small lightweight wheel chair that fit in the trunk of our small car, and was so easy to use

    With it, I didn’t miss out on our theater performances or dinner dates

     

    I did have to specify which side of the wheelchair to put the attachment that kept my leg elevated

    My travel agent says I will get a credit card refund, since our fare was reduced after final payment

     

    Hmmm … I wonder if our credit card refund with happen, given all the OBC refund responses 

     

    I will keep you posted

    I’m thinking it may take a month

  7. Hi

     

    We stopped at a few Caribbean ports on our cruise They were very memorable

     

    The Amazon ports were interesting (especially the culture and history), very very hot, and best with a tour, IMO

    The stops where children beg and show off sloths I can’t unsee

     

    I’m very glad we did this cruise, but probably won’t do an Amazon cruise again

     

    It was nice to return to a beautiful ship, new friends, great food, and friendly, helpful staff
