  1. Wow, I think I am a convert to Sail Away. I've always been fussy, wanting a quiet(er) location and picked my balcony stateroom. But now that I'm retired and usually travel solo, I have to budget. I booked a balcony sail away a couple of months ago for a 15 day TA sailing next April. I just got my room assignment and it is a spa balcony, with staterooms above and below (so no noisy public spaces). I just checked the going rate and I've save $2000!!! I know there is no guarantee I will always be so lucky, but it's "Sail Away" from now on.

  2. I just booked my first Sail Away (BX) for next April’s TA on Escape ( NYC to Rome). I’ve always preferred to pick my cabin, but saving $1000 is too good to pass up.  I’ve just retired, & have to watch my pennies. I’m not as concerned about getting a quiet a cabin location (I hope I do, fingers crossed), but it’s not the end of the world if I don’t. And being Platinum, I’ll get the usual perks, specialty dinners, laundry, some free internet minutes and 10% discount on the shore excursions. My cruise is so far in the future, so I guess it will be quite a while until I get my cabin assigned.

  3. I have 2 upcoming.  The Getaway 19 Day Transatlantic 10/20 to 11/08  from Copenhagen, other ports are  Rotterdam, Southampton,  Le Havre, Portland (UK)  Cobh, Ireland; Ponta Delgada, Azores, Bermuda; Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas; Miami, and ending in New Orleans .   Then NCL Escape 15 day transatlantic 4/18/20 – 5/3/20, from NYC. Other ports are Ponta Delgada, Lisbon, Cadiz, Malaga, Palma Majora, Barcelona, Cannes, Livorno, ending in Rome
