  1. Book as early as possible.  We cruise with a large group. It fluctuates year to year, but our 2019 group is around 40 people.  We didn't decide which cruise until around 10 months out, and it was extremely difficult to even get everyone booked.  We have finally gotten everyone on the ship, but we are all spread out in all sorts of rooms. When we saw how crazy it was, those of us confident in going on the 2020 cruise went ahead and chose our ship and booked.  The ability to get rooms we wanted was much, much better.

  2. I am booked on the Horizon in 2020 but different dates.  Interior cabin, three people (two adults, one child). My breakdown is $826.52/$826.52/$301.52.

I have cruised Carnival several times, all as a party of three, and have never seen the sort of pricing you are seeing. While I can't say its an error for sure, I will say it isn't the norm.

  3. We have an upcoming cruise booked and unfortunately availability was pretty limited for what we wanted (interior for 3). The only room we could get is 6237. It appears to be over the theatre.  I am concerned with the noise level in the room from the theater,  and have been watching for another room to open up, but so far no luck.

Has anyone stayed in this area? What noise did you hear? I’m not particularly concerned with noise during the day, as we aren’t often in our rooms during the day. But, between midnight and 8am, are we likely to hear a lot of noise from the theater?

We had an issue with the noise from the Atrium filtering up to the cabins.  They have lots of activities held in the Atrium in the evenings that make lots of noise.  They went on until about 1 am.  We had friends on deck 8 near the atrium elevators and they could hear it just as much as we could in our cabin on Deck 6.  We found the quietest place to be a spa cabin on deck 12.  The odd number forward spa cabins have nothing across from them, so no door slamming and not much foot traffic and no noise from below.  12009 was our favorite cabin of the 3 times we sailed the Breeze.  6278 was the noisiest. 12016 was OK, except for the door slammers across the hall!

You mention 6278 being the noisiest you’ve had on the Breeze. Just how noisy was it? Like, couldn’t sleep? We have 6237 (interior, forward) booked and it’s over the theater. Not another interior available on the entire ship. We don’t usually get to bed until midnight or around there. I just want to know if I need to be stalking the site trying to find another available room.

  5. We were on the Elation in October. We have previously been on the Glory and Liberty. We were happy with the layout and such, enjoyed our itinerary, but the smaller ship did rock more.  The biggest issue was service.  We felt room stewards as well as overall cleanliness and repair were subpar.
