That is very good to know, we have them booked for later in the year. We usually travel as part of a large group so have always used a shuttle service but as there is only 2 of us traveling this time decided to book with them.

We always stay at the Best Western and always use Cocoa Beach Shuttle we have always been very pleased with there service, I read some bad reports about the shuttle service last year but we certainly had no problems with them and our party was happy to book them again for our cruise this year.

We used them last October we read all the bad reports about them before we arrived but as we had used them before decided to stay with them, we were very happy with the service they provided. Our flight was over 2 hours late in arriving and then we were not allowed off the plane as the immigration hall was so congested so in all we were 3 hours late in arriving but hey they were there waiting for us. We have now booked them for this October.

When we did the tour last October we saw the shuttle on the launch site the coach got us quite near to take photos but we really only saw the back part.

Shirley and Preston, thanks to this very informative thread and your listings of the contacts for the hotels in your area I was able to e-mail Linda from the Best Western. I cannot speak too highly of this wonderful lady who went out of her way to ensure that my booking was correct she truly is a credit to the company and we look forward to our stay later in the year.

Jut wanted to say that having read all the negative reports about cocoa beach shuttle service on cc I did think about cancelling and booking with some-one else but decided to keep the booking with them. We arrived at Orlando Airport on the 15th Oct 2hrs 30mins late and should have exited at terminal A however we exited at Terminal B I was really worried about our transport as there were lots of shuttle buses there but couldn't see ours. I phoned there office and Mellisa was very helpful she told me not to worry and to stay there and she would get the driver there in 5 mins as he was waiting at terminal A sure enough the driver arrived promptly, we had a very helpful and pleasant driver. The next morning the transport arrived nice and early and again the driver was very pleasant. After reading all the negative reports I felt that in this instance they deserved a good report we were very happy with there service and will definately use them again.

Does anyone know anything about the 2 bedroom suites at this hotel? Are they located across the street from the standard hotel rooms?

We stayed in one of these suites last October, yes they are across the street from the standard rooms in a separate building, breakfast was served in this building every morning. Main door to this building was kept locked at all times. We were very pleased with this hotel.

Thanks for the link Shirley I have done a quick check and think I have found a route to the nearest store We stayed at the Best western last year lucked out and caught the Air show weekend. Very pleased with Hotel so will use it again this year.

Shirley, mine is an unusual question, we will be staying at the Best Western Cocoa Beach for 2 nights before our cruise in Oct, is there a public service transport system I can use to take me to the nearest Walmarkt store from this hotel and also to take us to the dinassau store, I know that there is a Publix store near the hotel but they do not stock the tea I like but walmarkt does stock it. I always try to buy a good supply when I travel to America as this tea is not available in the UK. Please no-one tell me it is easier to hire a car to get around as my husband refuses to drive when on holidayso always use local transport systems wherever we go.

Sorry but from what I understand it is Dplus normally on the invite list along with the media and TAs.

 

This year with one of the 2nighters being a Charity night it has cut down on the invites sent out :(

Oh well I will just have to hurry and make dp before the next new ship is launched, good excuse to book another cruise or two don't you all think.
