Firstly it's Southampton.Wife and I will be sailing on Navigator Of The Seas April 22... 14 days from Miami to South Hampton. We will then be spending a week in Cornwall, England. As we will arrive in South Hampton on a Sunday, my inquiry is whether we should convert American dollars to British Pounds on the ship (with a 3% fee) or try to find a bank or money exchange in Southhampton that Sunday, before proceeding on to Cornwall the same day (private transport car is picking us up). I am also awaiting information from my local Florida bank as to their policies/fees.Thanks!

If changing money in the UK, perhaps use either Marks and Spencer or Debenhams department stores, you could check the rate now on their websites but if they do it the 'wrong way round' as it were, changing USD to GBP that's usually at a poor rate given to Brits returning from US vacations.

Slightly off topic, but I've just seen mention of 'cellarmasters' wine bar on deck 4, which we certainly never visited last year on our cruise on the Equinox.
Celebrity website talks about it in general terms but I don't trust them to know night from day.
A) does it still exist
B) is it covered by premium drinks package
C) Anyone seen it?

I remember now why we did it on board, and it was because someone said that the staff get bonus/rewards for someone upgrading with them, and as its the same price, why not!

excellent, did you do this by telephone, as I can't see an upgrade option on the website ?I upgraded to premium and my husband opted to stay with the classic package. We share a cabin and there was no problem in doing this. -
Ah that's true in our case so that might explain it

Isn't there only 1 Xpress pass per booking, my wife's name is mentioned on the one set of paper I printed?

I think that if you do upgrade it has to be the whole cabin, so your wife too would be on premium.
This is to stop the obvious of upgrading one and going back to the bar twice!

Internet is £196.14
Well, just queried this with X. Was told that there is a major hiccup and that £196.14 is not a reliable price.!
Just done checkout so if it's wrong, I'm not paying any more.

Not sure it's much of a sale if you are in the UK.
Upgrade from Classic to Premium drinks costs £9.38 per day, or about $11.74, which includes the Grats, a 6 cent discount!
Internet is £196.14 or about $245, a saving of $23 (£18.71), whooo!!!

Can I ask about the dinner packages.
We have pre-booked the 4 restaurant package, and on the system it made is choose a day for the first, but oddly it didn't ask us for which restaurant, so we are a bit confused. How did it work for you?
Also you mention $35 for a meal (was it pay for one person, and one free?) at Silk Harvest, was this an advertised on board on a particular evening or every night?
Finally what is your favorite beer so far (included in the premium package, not one of the $40 ones!!)
Passengers who have used Mixed Vaccination Protocols will not be considered to be Fully Vaccinated per RCI FAQs

Most posts here are obviously about RCI and whether they will or won't accept mixed vaccines, and also Florida's own current 'law' on vaccine passports, but whilst I believe from all I've read that ANY vaccine that's WHO authorised is OK (and to be clear my wife and I have both had double doses of Astra Z), or even that you CAN travel on a RCI/Celebrity cruise un-vaccinated, but you'll have to pay for all sorts of tests and have different rules on-board etc.
My question is though; currently UK/EU passengers cannot even travel to the US (until at least July 31st I think), so it's not so much what will RCI accept, it's can we even get into the US having had AZ that isn't 'recognised' by the CDC ?
Has there been anything to suggest that once the US border re-opens (assuming it even will considering the Delta variant figures now rapidly increasing in the UK at least), that AZ vaccinated travellers will be welcome in the US?
