Hello! I am working on planning my first ever Alaska Cruise and we are hoping that we might be able to do this in as few cruises as possible, but we dont know where to begin. We have only seen one cruise that seems to cover all of Alaska, the Great Alaskan Explorer on Holland America; but looking at the reviews on here it looks like the ship HA is using is not very good so I am hesitant to say thats what we want to go with; so I thought I would try my search a different way.

If you had to give someone advice on the ports they ABSOLUTELY need to go to when going to Alaska, what would you tell them? And if you could give a little information, such as, lots of shopping, need to do an excurision, or lots of sightseeing, I would sooo appreciate it!!!

FYI we are not looking at certain cruiselines at this time cause we are truly just trying to figure out our itinerary right now so please dont suggest itineraries, just ports.

Hmmmm,,,, my apology for mis-information. I had been following the changes, and I thought that they had posted that information on their website on Thursday. Not there now. And it may have been a reposting of the information on the 10/3 voyage (vs. 10/10 voyage).

No worries. I am traveling on the Sky leaving tomorrow and I have friends that have family that live in Nassau and they said the damage is pretty bad and will take a couple of weeks to clean up so I have been hoping they would change our course.

Just talked to NCL and Sky's itinerary for 10/10 is on schedule. Freeport and Nassau are the stops

Bird Watcher may I ask where you got your information that the cruise leaving Monday has changed itinerary? I have not been able to find any information that it has changed?

I am about to go on the NCL Sky ship tomorrow and I have a question. I am having to do some work on the ship so am thinking about getting the unlimited internet. However, I want to possibly utilize it between my work laptop and my ipad. Will I be able to use the internet I purchase along the two devices?
