Why is Oasis listed as in drydock until February? I'm pretty sure nobody has told me she won't make it to Miami in November.

Hey Rick! Do you happen to have an pics of the Balcony from Room #1106? I am looking at possibly booking this room on Independence of the Seas (should be similar, right?) and would appreciate your input. Thanks in advance [emoji846]

Hi Rick - long time, no see. Hope you are doing well. Missed you on here.
Hi Joe,
I might make an appearance soon. Depends on what York and Andrew do during our Symphony sailing. I hear Tapatalk works again, so I may give CC another chance. Hope all is well with you too.

I believe he is only filling in on our March 9-16th sailing. I'll confirm with Rick.
The good news is he will be our CD. The bad news is he will not be the Comedy Club host where he is usually absolutely hysterical.
I was Googling pineapple briefs and I was somehow directed here. In any case, he is indeed a one week wonder.

Have a great trip Nick. Just curious as to why your sailings on Allure in 2015 and 2016 have been forgotten. Hope you love all the improvements on Symphony!

I'm alive and counting down to the Symphony! #21 days Not sure I will do a live thread without an app. Sorry.
-
I do not know if you all realize that cc is doing work on their website tomorrow and no one will be able to post anything for a few days. Will miss this live coverage. Read only next few days.
No worries. I’ll just fill the thread with a whole bunch of trash talk about @Yorkvillain.

Is it sad that I’m on a cruise and I want to sit here and watch Mighty Ships featuring Oasis? Can you believe this was almost tens years ago!?
Oh well, off to see the Headliner show with a pit stop in the pub.

Do you have to have a table at 150 to get the drink, or is there a bar there that one could approach and just have the drink?

Table. In that respect, the cucumber martini is one expensive cocktail. [emoji6]

Thanks for posting the CL pics from this week. We are sailing on the Symphony next month in 1764 on the opposite side so it’s nice to see the layout with the long hall etc. Do you mind the obstructed balcony? Enjoy the rest of your week!

Not at all. It’s only an issue when looking to the side. No onstructions looking at the ocean.

After shutting down the Suite Deck Zone this evening, it’s now time for Hibachi in Izumi.

Be excited! Such an honor to be singled out by the Captain to have coffee. How many would kill to be in your shoes (Gucci loafers perhaps [emoji3]?) right about now?
Wow, that was amazing! Staff Captain Marshall (Canada) joined Captain Gus as well. 45 minutes talking Royal Caribbean and nerding out. He just wanted to thank me for all I do for the brand and understand my back story as he expects we will cruise many more times together.
-
Captain Gus just asked me to meet him at Starbucks. Not sure if I should be excited or pertified. Stay tuned.
-
Rick,
does that mean you are on December 9?? doing the math.. for 62 days;);););)
I’ll be there!

A 14 day cruise has a different rhythm for me. Slower in the beginning or my liver never makes the finish line. By having the Pres Cruise first (therefore in racing terms going out fast) is this cruise sort of a let down or are you just taking a mid cruise breather?
Breather, which was the intention all along. I booked the second leg so I could come back refreshed and relaxed, instead of my normal hungover and dead. Being back in the gym and getting full nights of sleep has made a world of difference. It’s a different type of cruise, but still very enjoyable. This ship and crew feel like home. 62 days until I’m back on her, I guess I should get off before counting down.
P.S. The Vitality Spa has asked me to speak at the detox seminar, as I have done the program many times. That would have never happened last week. [emoji12]

So for those on Instagram, you may have seen some photos of the Crown and Anchor Society crew and I last week with guns a blazin’. Well apparently the ship’s photographers felt left out and asked to be part of the action last night.
The original.
Last night.
Some other shots that have made their way onto the interwebs.

Is this new? Bloody Mary station outside the pub.

Looks delicious. Curios as to what type of martini that is though!
Thanks
Laurie
The one and only cucumber martini. The best cocktail on the high seas.
