  1. We are cruising on the Carnival Glory in early June. We were wanting to have a fun beach day while in Roatan. We will have 2 older teens with us. We were hoping to find a beach that isn't just packed to capacity, which may be hard to do since it will be June. We are not big on booking excursions through the boat. We were actually looking at Maya key or Tabyana beach? Would like to be able to enjoy the beach, get something local to eat and maybe have a few activities (snorkeling, etc) if we get tired of laying on the beach. We normally stay pretty active but thought this might be a good port to do a little relaxing. Any suggestions on beaches or who to book through would be appreciated. Also, do you have to book an excursion or can you just hire a cab and have a good day on your own? Anything to be cautious of???

  2. We are a family of four looking to take a caribbean cruise next summer. We are ages 40-41-20-17, so we have older children. My wife and I went on our first cruise last month on the Carnival Paradise out of Tampa, and we LOVED IT!!! Now we want to experience it as a family. Can anyone tell me some of the pros and cons of the different ships? We are trying to find one that will keep us all occupied and entertained. We are looking at a 7 day cruise, not sure out of which port yet?
