Just need a bit of help with deciding what is best,. We arrive in laem chabang on our cruise and didnt want to go to bankok so looked for alternatives to do...found an elephant sanctuary to visit in pattaya , they have a head office in pattaya then the sanctuary is just on the outskirts. So begins my dilemma..how easy is it to get a taxi from the port to the office in pattaya.then how easy is it to get a taxi back from pattaya to the port. Or am i better hiring a taxi all day to take me to the sanctuary and wait till i am finished to take me back.

hi just wanting to know if when at the boatyard when the staff come round asking if you want to go see the turtles ,, is this free and included in the price of admission into the boatyard or is it extra,, i have been a few times but always just said no thanks as i was thinking always a hidden cost never find things free...

hi just wondering if anyone has any info for this complex..calling at st kitts on my cruise and as i have been a few times now was looking for something different, having read about this place and it is not far from cruise terminal , do i need to book in advance or can i just turn up on the day and purchase a day pass.

Last year on celebrity I could get tender tickets for all my group so only one person had to go queue.

Can someone enlighten me on how the tender system works onboard princess cruise ships please..is the process similar to celebrity..The ones going on a cruise trip go to the theatre to await the call of their trip and everyone else has to go to a desk to queue to get a numbered ticket and then await the call of there number..

Well I'm on 15 day cruise to hawaii so hopefully have bogo on there and even better if twice a day and the later the better for the evening one...11-12 would work great for us as we usually out till late.

Yes unfortunately I am a smoker and do like to have a cigarette or two .

sorry for my mistake but will bring a smile to some peoples faces.

would like to know if anyone can tell me if there is one,and at what times,i never buy the drinks package as i find it expensive and i would stuggle to drink the amount to make it worthwhile,but on my last cruise on celebrity they had the same thing as princess at around the same cost,which again i didnt purchase, but around four in the afternoon one of the poo bars had happy hour on cocktails which was great after a day out on a trip,, then later in one of the bars they had a happy hour from 10 till 11 which again was good as we came out of the restaurant around that time..

That is exactly our plans too dznymom...hopefully with a bit of snorkeling off that thin strip of sand off lahaina town..don't think we would have time to venture further due to having to get tender back to ship.

Hope I get to see that...trip says guaranteed to see whales and having looked into it see they are there from December to end of march/April. ..booked with ultimate whale watch company as they use a zodiac dinghy or similar so less people on and closer to the sea.

thanks for that,,, my cruise is in march and will be docking off lahaina on the 17th of march , just looking to book my whale watching now but with tender having to go with a bit later time of 9:30 start for 2hrs..so hope that leaves me plenty of time to get to a beach and look around lahaina .

my wife keeps saying if the whales are there you will be able to see them from the ship,, but i want to get up close to them, or as close as allowed,,,

also thanks for info about buses,,how much would taxi be up to kaanapali beach, havnt yet booked whale watching so looking at above posts sounds like a few at the docks, just wondering wether better to wait till i get there,

Loving all this info...always like to research places and get to know it before I go..We dock at 7am and leave at 6pm so thinking of whale watching in the morning then go to a beach after.so hopefully enough time to look around lahaina too...that hula pie certainly sounds delicious and will try some of that.

thanks for the info,,pretty much the same as celebrity then,,with other cruises i have been lucky and only done three tenders two of those with celebrity last year,..unfortunately i am only platinum.

first time going to hawaii and wondered where the tenders drop you off at,, just so i can plan my day a bit more,thinking of going on the whale watching tour from here then maybe a beach after, if one is within walking distance so any info on that would be helpful too.........

Yes I will be there for two nights so will have one full day in San Francisco. ..first staying in Las Vegas for three nights .
