We love HAL, but if you routinely sail in summer, it can get very hot standing on the deck waiting for people who always arrive late. Would rather they wait 10 minutes and then go ahead...make the late ones attend a separate briefing.

Princess and Norwegian have been doing drills that way for at least 2 years now...it seemed like HAL was the only line we have cruised that was still requiring people to stand on the deck...usually waiting for those certain "special" passengers who always arrive late!

He is on Caribbean Princess right now...on our 14 day Circle Caribbean cruise. 6-20 Nov 2019. Has been in Crooners but last night he was in Explorers because of the large numbers who enjoy him. My Scottish Mum and Aunt are with us and they love his humor!!

Definitely take the aft cabin...we have done about 10 on princess and always go with aft.

Not really a secret but we really enjoyed movies in Celebrity Central. They play 3 times a day...we saw Lala Land and Fences during our cruise. Also loved the tranquil quiet Sky Lounge. Enjoy your trip

Very basc question about equinox...we are getting onboard in 2 days. Would you know if there are small bottles of hair conditioner...or is it the usual dispenser with shampoo conditioner combo?

Obviously! Info I gave was for the benefit of others.

Hi...we too have 7305 booked on equinox. It is the last side cabin and the balcony is quite a bit larger than "normal" if you Google pics cabin 7305...or 7354..it shows the slanted shape, and the bit of overhang. Enjoy!

I've heard alot about Luggage Forwarding services recently and was wondering if anyone has tried it? We're flying into Honolulu from the east coast in January and to be able to not have the stress of luggage on that long trip would be a pleasure. Just curious if anyone has any suggestions / advice.
Thanks in advance!
Have not used the luggage shipping to the ship but we have used Hal valet...you leave bags outside stateroom last night and you dont see them again until you pick up at destination luggage carousel...it is very reasonable...approx $19 a bag. We love it...wish more lines would start offering it

Personally prefer to be next to Havensight...easily accessible shopping so you can go on and off the ship more than once if you like.
