Hello, I think I'm on the same sailing as you; Solstice leaving July 1st. According to the app check in opens on May 17th. Hope that helps.

Hi All-
Its been a long 27 months since we last cruised, but we have a family trip scheduled for the Solstice on July 1st to Alaska. I know for a while they stopped the concierge lunch, but did they bring it back? Thanks in advance!

I had the same issue. Mine was going to be on the Reflection November 2020 for a 10 day Southern. Tried to move it to November 2021 with the Edge, but since it was a different class of ship they wouldn't do it. They wanted to move us to a 10 day on a smaller ship and that wasn't flying with us. FINALLY after my agent spent many of hours on the phone we got them to agree to lift and shift us to a 12 day Southern on the Equinox in November 2021 with an upgrade to concierge class and it was a bit cheaper. I hope since this happened back in July of last year they have improved the lift and shift because it really gave me a sour taste and this is my 5th cruise on Celebrity.

What is interesting is that I've gone to Buffet restaurants recently in a couple different states, and all allowed you to serve yourself (you just had to wear disposable gloves). So if the land restaurants don't have to follow this, then why does the cruise industry have to.

We just got back yesterday from the Infinity, and the disembarkation started at 7:35am.

I just got assigned to 6022 on the Infinity and I booked a veranda guarantee, I was very happily surprised.

I had cruised carnival almost exclusively the last ten years, and then I tried Celebrity with my mom. Booked the next cruise with my husband and we agreed we would never go back to carnival. Not that carnival is bad, its just not our cup of tea any longer. Maybe its because we've gotten older, or maybe because we like cursing with a crowd that is older. We are in are early 40's and most times we've cruised we've been on the younger side. I love celebrities shows, food and cabins, but I do miss my cove cabins on carnival. The only downside to celebrity is that a lot of ports that I want to go are on longer cruises and my hubby doesn't want to do longer than 9 days. But I'm working on that.

Has anyone every heard of, or done "extend your stay". Celebrity describes it as
Extend your cruise vacation. Remain onboard and enjoy some ship services up to 90 minutes prior to the ship's next departure. Enjoy breakfast and lunch in the Oceanview Café, access to the pool, fitness center and select public lounges. Opt for private or group transportation to the airport for an additional fee. We're here to help you squeeze every last second out of your vacation.
We are thinking this may help since United cancelled our plane at 1 and the next flight out isn't until 4:30. I know at FLL you can't check in until 4 hours previous so this might be an answer to our issue.

The nice thing about Southwest, if the price drops, they give you a credit. 136 is pretty good from MDW.

The last 2 cruises we went out of Galveston. Both times we took a private company. Not sure if we are allowed to mention them or not, but its the Galveston express. Both times were flawless, never had an issue, and they go out of both airports, and are VERY easy to work with on times and locations of drop offs.

We loved Malcolm, we had him on the Freedom last year. I missed him this year when we went on the Breeze.

I was just on the Breeze 10/2, yes they give you a card. However, it asks if you want Morning, Night OR Both.

Happens to me after every cruise. I love it, cause I still feel like I'm on the ship.....even if I'm now at work, lol!

It disappeared from my sailing as well this morning, and we sail in 39 days. Here's hoping it comes back.

He was our CD on the Freedom in October this year. He is one of my most favorite CD's. We loved him, and I hope when we cruise out of Galveston next year he switches to the Breeze, so we can have him again!!!!!!!!

I stayed in that room in 2005. I loved it, because it was a handicapped accessible room so the shower was huge and the room had a lot of extra room. We didn't have the beds together, but from what it looked like, it could easily become a king bed. The location was good, didn't hear anything above or below, and the door to the front deck is right next door. Also, you do have a window, that looks out to the front deck (which is public). I've since switched to a balcony rooms, but would book this one again if I ever decided to go with an ocean view.

I have a quick question. On my next RCCL cruise in February my mother will have reached Emerald status. Will she get the benefits while on the cruise of Emerald, or would she have to wait for the next cruise?

The last 2 times I've gone to Rotan it was around November and it rained both times. From my understanding is that, that time of year is their rainy period, but I could be wrong.

Hey there, we were on the same cruise. Did anyone in your party get COVID when they got back? My husband just tested positive and we think he got it on Wednesday or Thursday last week. He didn't show any symptoms until last Saturday. We knew the risk, and it was worth it. We had a wonderful trip!
