I am was in Allure recently and had a power strip still in original packaging and they did not confiscate it I left in original packaging so they could see it did not have surge protection anywhere in the package and it made it just fine

Did she at least get it back at end of cruise

Thank you, I will be sailing in the Allure in a few weeks...

If you buy the refreshment package that includes specialty coffees and teas etc... it would not include these drinks from Starbucks, correct?

Is this just something on certain ships? Sorry. Review here and sailing in Allure in a few weeks and have not seen where I had to upload any photos?

Hey...use whatever method you are comfortable with...it's no big deal...
But, for ME, the plastic holder things are dirt cheap, easy to use...and I don't have to travel with staplers or tape or look for a hotel clerk to lend me theirs. They weigh next to nothing and I put the tags in them way ahead of time and slip them into my carry-on. It's actually easier than stapling and taping. And, again...they are CHEAP...

Thanks for the information! I just bought some for our upcoming RCL cruise and opted for the metal cable as you described, good to know they work well!! I am one of those that feared the tag would not make it the entire trip...

Just an FYI if you are thinking about buying the deluxe drink package they are running a special as of yesterday that you can get the deluxe drink package and Voom for 54.00 daily for one device... it came out cheaper for us so we went ahead and bought the deluxe drink package while they were offering the Voom

Something I never brought before, but now that my DH drinks coffee... one of those multiple coffee carrying things that you get from Starbucks! Having one of those would have made carrying 2 cups of coffee, 2 donuts, and a croissant WAY easier... And, they are free, and they flatten down...
Love that idea!!

So glad you took the time to write this post! We are leaving on June 4th and also have the Balcony cabins with the eat drink play program... we are as aft as we could book... this made me feel less anxious on our choice as I had also convinced my son and his wife to book a couple of cabins down from us!!! Thanks again!!

I can understand why the question would be asked about medications. I travel for a living and have seen TSA not allow meds that were not in their original container. Although I think that it is ridiculous as I have flown multiple times with pill planner and not original packing... they gave the person two choices fly without them and ship them to her home address or don't fly! So stupid! I actually called TSA and basically was told it is a case by case basis and up to the individual security agent...

I did call RC and asked specifically about an electric fan for our cruise as well and was told they were allowed as I, like you like the noise but also like the cool air at night

Thanks I just always prefer handling our travel and wanted to book our next one onboard but only if we could keep the control of it... appreciate your help

If you book on board do you have to transfer it to a travel agent or can you handle the future reservation yourself?

Can anyone tell me if you are allowed to carry on board a small electric fan for bedside at night?

Booked on Allure of the Seas in June and booked cabin 12723. Anyone have any pictures of the cabin or the view from the balcony, by chance? And can anyone say if the "secret balcony areas" on some of the decks still exists?
