What choices are usually available in the fountain.
Since they don't have the freestyle machines, I'm trying to decide if it's worth it to get the soda package if all they have is Coke, diet coke, sprite

I shoot on 32gb sandisk extreme or extreme pro cards, then I copy to 32 gb USB sticks, then to my portable hard drive, and if wifi is available to Amazon cloud. I will be travelling with my rav power file hub plus travel router/media server/battery pack. I like that it can copy from sd card to a USB drive, but it does not handle copying files with same name very well

Sorry for the intrusion, do these same steps work for an android phone, like a Samsung Note 5 with Verizon? Can I use Verizon's app, Messaging + to send texts? If not, what messaging app would you recommend? I'm not too tech savvy. Thank you for your help!

Yes you should be able to put your android in airplane mode and then once that mode takes effect, go in and turn on wifi. I tested it on my Samsung Galaxy s7

Verizon has no plan that will give you an allowance of minutes, or text when on a cruise ship... As far as I'm told data service on cruise ships for version has been done away with as of the end of Jan 2017.
Sent Sms is 50 cents each recipient
Received Sms is 5 cent each
Mms (picture and video) messages require data.... So they may not work on the cruise ship system ( no data service)
Verizon messages+ can send sms and mms via wifi if a cellular connection is not available... Android only
Apple iMessage is an apple to Apple platform. It is usually on by default, when you send a message via iMessage the bubble will be blue, sms is green
You can send messages via wifi only theoretically, but you should never hedge your bets on a technology that has the ability to be blocked or outages.
Please if you are not wanting data and voice roaming charges... Turn your roaming off!!! Coming from a customer service person at a carrier (which my advise does not represent my employer). Roaming is a valid charge, you get a free text telling you the charges, and common sense would dictate that you are not covered outside your home country.

Just an FYI for Verizon customers... As of 1/18/17 Verizon no longer participates in cellular data at sea and the cost of a call on cellular voice is $2.99/ minute

Are you dropping off your car at the airport or downtown? We dropped it off downtown and the wait for the shuttle was very long, since it was very busy.
Cindy
We are gong to be dropping the car off at the enterprise/national building near the cape. I think it is on Merritt st or road.

First time cruiser here.
We are going out of port canaveral, flying into Orlando.
Majesty of the seas on May 1
I have a rental car the day before the cruise. My reservation with enterprise has me dropping off the car at 10 am and having them take us to the cruise terminal.
Maybe questions are:
Will they drop us where we need to be for our ship? My mom cannot walk that far of distances and certainly not while trying to manage luggage.
I figure if I drop the car off at 10 am by the time enterprise shuttles us to the terminal it will be 10:30-11:00. Is this too early?
We basically don't want to be standing in lines for a long time (as my mom cannot stand that long)

Yeah the terra is good, just need the SIM card listed in the system.... Silly reps, the computer screen tells them everything they need to know and do.

CDMA roaming has been retired, you need a phone that is quad band GSM Umts. In Addition to cdma for the USA.

I was always taught that you never mess with people involved with your meal (cooks and wait staff) or the people who make your life comfy (maintence, cleaning, etc.)
That being said, many people do think it is perfectly fine to treat others rude.... I work in a customer service call center, people treat us very rudely and I have found that I have no respect for rude people

Be careful with the theory on wifi calling to avoid cellular charges.... From my in depth understanding, wifi calling with Verizon won't kick in unless there is no available cellular service, so you may need to be sure data and voice roaming are both turned off, but then that will disable the VoLTE which is a part component of wifi calling.
Wifi calling and making a call with an app over wifi are totally different.

So what kinds of entertainment will there be? Also do you need to reserve tickets for the shows?

Verizon's International options no longer provide any allowance on any cruise ship.
All usage under the cruise ship's cellular system is billed at Pay as You Go rates. $1.79/Min, 50 Cents to send a plain text, 5 cents to receive, data is billed at $2.05/MB (440MB = $1,000)
TravelPass will work when you are in port and the ship's cellular service is turned off. If the country is one of the covered ones.
PS: I know a lot about the international offerings of VZW, as I deal with it daily.

Working in Customer Service for a major US wireless carrier for the past 10 years... I am well aware of the surveys. Every call can be surveyed, there are 3 ratings, the score I get, the score of the company and if I resolved the issue.
It is never fair that you the employee is scored down for something you have no control over.
A good score is something everybody strives for, however you should never hound a customer to give you a good survey.

Cruising to the Bahamas in May 2017 and wondering what gear to take?
Gonna be shooting with my canon t3i (hoping I get the 80d next spring)
I typically use the 18-55mm kit but am wondering about my other lenses. I have a 50mm f1.8 prime and a 55-255 kit lens too
Would a tripod and speedlite be overkill?
What about video camera, go pro?
This will be my first cruise, and I want to have tons of photos to remember the fun times in addition have great photos for framing.

I have the Adobe creative cloud for $10 a month. I use Lightroom all the time. I keyword my photos. When I drove Route 66 i left my garmin on all the time when we stopped, this allowed me to geotag every photo (and they were spot on too).
The presets in Lightroom really save time when you get a photo just the way you want it and have many more to edit.
I go through each photo and put a star fr the ones I like, then filter just by those, and then when I edit the photo I 2 star them. If I've sent one to print I tag it with a green color

A travel router, or or specifically one that does bridge mode simply allows you to connect to one wifi network and bridge that connection to other devices. For instance to connect to the wifi I have a "splash screen" where terms and conditions have to be accepted. The router will connect to that network. My iPad connects to my router and when I try to use the Internet it will pass along that splash screen for me to accept the terms on. Then from that point any device connected to the router does not need to accept terms. The wifi network would only see one connection, but there could be up to 254 other devices connected to the travel router.
The login to the rci site isn't an issue, but I have heard that rci is blocking Mac addresses of known travel router brands

Ok I am sailing on majesty in May 2017
If only 1 of us buys the drink package , and gets the souvenir cup. Is there anything stopping one of us using it for say lunch one day and the other using it the next day.
Neither of us are that big of soda drinkers that we would need to drink soda every waking moment, we can endure tea or lemonade for a drink.
I've read where the cups have a chip in them, beyond that what. Would stop us?
