Hope I'm not too late for this reply but just browsing and saw the topic. Eden is a small town but it does have a fantastic Museum called the Eden Killer Whale Museum which is well worth a visit. There is a lovely swimming beach too but might be a good idea to get a taxi to take you around to some of the main attractions. There is the Ben Boyd Tower out of town and lovely drives but most would need to be done by car. The Sea Horse Inn has lovely meals and great views. Hope this helps.

We walked around the city itself as the weather was wet and windy in Wellington. The department store of Kirkaldy & Stains was well worth a visit even if to just get out of the rain. We also did the Funicular railway as well as the Maritime Museum, all worth it especially in wet weather and all within easy walking distance.

I would like to know what perfume shops are on the Majestic Princess on the NZ cruises,in particular is Cartier one of the shops.

Thanks for all the helpful information you have given us, it is very generous of you to do this for us and is really appreciated. We are booked on the Majestic in March 2019 and I have found the information really useful and feel like I already know my way around the decks,so hopefully I won't get lost! Thanks again and happy cruising.

We were on the Regal Princess last year on Baltic cruse and we had a balcony room mid ship on Riviera Deck. My husband has a tendency to motion sickness but he was fine for the whole trip, in fact we thought there was more movement on the lower decks but even then there wasn't much at all. Enjoy your cruise.

1962 on the Oronsay from Perth to Adelaide, Australia. I don't remember much of the trip as I was young, but my parents thought it was wonderful. My next cruise was in 1989 on the Fairstar from Sydney to Vanuatu, another great cruise, then 2013 Sun Princess to New Zealand, 2017 Regal Princess on Baltic cruise.

We did a Baltic Cruise last June and did a 2 day tour with Alla Tours. I would recommend them as they were very professional and small group. We booked the 2 day tour direct with Alla on the internet and it was very easy to do. The 2 days were very full days but there is a lot to see and we certainly saw everything we wanted and our guide was so helpful and really knew the history. It was a fantastic 2 days and lunch was provided as a boxed lunch on one day and the 2nd day we had a lovely restaurant lunch and afterwards we were taken to a recommended Souvenir outlet which they guaranteed for genuine amber jewellery. I agree with others that the non-cruise tours are better value and no problem with getting back to the ship as their business depends on reliability.

We are planning to hire a car in Juneau in August and would appreciate any recommendations for a hire car company.
